The Eagles did help Beckville out last night and Beckville still has to play them on their field (Next Tuesday). Should be a good game. I saw the Beckville/Waskom "game" last night. I could tell Beckville's coach was doing everything possible to keep the score at what it was. It was pretty bad to watch.

Bearcats win - but don't take Harleton lightly....especially in their neck of the woods. Beckville's kicker is the real deal also!

For the record - Panola College uses Jim Reeves Field just off the loop in Carthage at the ball park. CHS and Panola share this field - and yes it is very nice! Good luck Bearcats!

This is tragic news. I don't know who you are or your son, but anyone lost to a program this size is truly tragic. Just remember - coaches come and coaches go, but a Beckville Bearcat bleeds BLUE for life. I really hope you and your son reconsider. Go cats!

Beckviile has too many weapons for UG to control. Bearcats win this one in my opinion.

I think Beckville will win this game barring no more injuries - but they had better not take Joaquin lightly.

I bet the Beckville coaches, players, and fans would be happy for WS to drive up to Panola County and play the game in Beckville on turf. Either way - I am going to predict Beckville wins this game. Pray everyone stays healthy and safe!

I loved seeing how both teams came together at the end. Both programs showed a lot of class last night. Best wishes to them!

Shelbyville is a very good team but I bet they realize how good Beckville is this morning. Momentum shift destroyed Beckville just before half when their player went down. Say what you want but if you were at the game you know its true. For the future, Cats must end costly mistakes (fumbles & penalties) and Dragons need to work on pat's, their kicking, and pass defense. Two really good teams in my opinion that will hopefully go far this season. But the recovery of the young man is all that really matters isn't it? Prayers lifted for him, his family and the Beckville community. But with all that said,

Reminds us of how precious life is. Don't let a day go by without hugging your kids and telling them you love them.... Prayers to the family, the team and the Alto community.....

Crossroads hasn't played Beckville, and to my knowledge hasn't played in Beckville's stadium, so not sure what you're talking about. Beckville has beaten Grapeland, Maud, Timpson, Union Grove and Overton this season. I still think Beckville has a good shot at winning several more games barring no injuries. It's going to be fun to watch how this district shakes out.

Not sure why SA Wolfman hates on the BearCats so much. I haven't seen any Beckville fans on here commenting negatively about SA - not even their Episcopal game..... I think Beckville will beat Cushing. But everyone knows to take one game at a time and not look ahead. Best of luck to everyone in this District.

Keith Williams is the voice of the Bearcats and yes he is extremely entertaining to hear at R. C. Beauchamp Stadium. The dude on KGAS this season for the Bearcats is terrible. Beckville had Mark McClain during the baseball season and he is fantastic! Maybe some of the Bearcat fans need to call ol' Jerry Hansen at KGAS and complain!

Homecoming for Beckville - as long as the Cats stay focused they will win this game.
