  1. So the issue is not whether the suspect was armed or not? Actually, I think it is.

  3. Because you didn't know what you were talking about and were just trying to diss UT like you always do. Cue rant from WETSU in 5..4..3..2..1..
  4. Here's the link to the story of the guy with his hands up getting shot and killed... video included. Yall should watch this if you haven't seen it. http://www.ksat.com/news/ksatcom-exclusive-unedited-video-of-fatal-deputy-involved-shooting Just double checked. Hispanic man
  5. I'm pretty sure this is incorrect. I think the guy was Hispanic and it also has been picked up by National media. I saw the video and the guy wasn't acting normal but he DEFINITELY put his hands up in the air and was then immediately double-tapped by the cop. Guy across the street recorded on his cell phone and he could not be seen by the police. Reportedly, he sold it to a news station for $100...apparently he didn't see the movie Nightcrawler lol. I wonder what there story would've been had there not been this video footage?
  6. That was a little more than just an opinion. Sounded like more of a statement of fact to me.
  7. Totally agree. To say that cops don't shoot people when they shouldn't, well that's just flat out stupid given all the incidents that have happened in the last year. Cops rarely get charged for misconduct when it occurs and cops routinely lie for each other to protect the blue. Unfortunately for them, technology has caught up to them making it harder for them to get away with it. ..
  8. Cops rarely even get charged when they shoot someone, so I don't get your point.
  9. No problem man and I do see your point. Personally I don't like the whole hate crime label, as I've already stated. It just seems like another thing that divides people and actually worsens race relations, and I really hate that. I wish I could live long enough to see true racial harmony in this country. I believe someday that will happen.
  10. Most all murders are hate crimes, except for some which may be due to mental illness. The liberals in this country felt the need to enact special "hate crime" legislation and all I would like to see is it applied evenly. Actually I would like to just do away with the whole hate crime law nonsense period, but we all know that will never happen.
  11. I wasn't jumping on you for your opinion. Rather the fact that you gave a very condescending response of "smh" when another poster called it a possible hate crime. It's your own words man. At this point, you can't prove it wasn't anymore than I can prove it was. It is my opinion and that of others, including investigators that it LIKELY was racially motivated (ie a hate crime). Clearly, you didn't like that term being used which prompted your response.
  12. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/08/29/sheriff-deputy-reportedly-shot-in-texas/Authorities are looking into the possibility of it being a hate crime. Sorry bro, but I can't exactly go down there and investigate it myself. I was merely stating my OPINION, and you stated yours. Your opinion is not any more substantiated than mine. Do YOU understand this concept?
  13. You saying it works both ways, doesn't make that a fact. As far as this incident goes, you don't KNOW that it wasn't a hate crime, but you already dismissed the possibility.
