Also I haven't seen rusk play but center is 0-4 Crockett 1-4 malakoff is undefeated which rusk lossed to and then Fairfield is 2-2....im just saying let's not get ahead of ourselves the schedule is a tad weak....so two 4a teams two 3a teams and one 2a team

He's gotta be ready, they have to figure out to give the QB some rest...he's playing his butt off and playing 95% of the game.....if he could catch his breath other teams will be in trouble with him and Thacker 100% all 4 quarters but we will see.....they have got to figure out penalties if they don't do that it doesn't matter either way though

Rusk is up this year, but besides Fairfield the level of talent they have played is sub par and that's generous. Alto has played some serious teams so far but they haven't put a complete game together yet, first 3 games Thacker hasn't finished the game and didn't play last night. With that being said it's Rusk and Alto kids know each other and some are family, definitely will be a game to see.....just hope either side doesn't geT dirty and don't forget Alto QB left rusk so I'm sure there's still a little animosity.

Feel bad for Arps district they are the real deal and Arp is definitely more than number 6 he was good tonight but it's a whole team effort from them, injuries and penaltys killed key drives for alto. For what alto fielded the last 5 min them boys need to keep their head up....they are gonna be just fine come district....this pre district schedule isn't no fluff stat building games......

And if I was a betn man when the dust settles Thacker will be standing

San Augustine is 7 weeks away, there's 2 district games before that they need to think about, when week 8 gets here they'll focus on them

Not too sure how you can compare longhorns and rangers to alto Friday, they may have been out of shape but definitely not embarrassing. Losing one of your top players is a punch in the gut. Also pretty sure Winona which is 3a may be in the top 20

Alto by 21, I see the jackets being ready after last weeks loss, plus the cold front coming in will be great for the running game and all that conditioning they probably got this week...

I can tell you this Alto will be in a lot better shape come Friday night, can't get no worse

With the penalties it was 3rd and 4th with 10 plus so that doesn't make sense to run it.....Winona deserved the win but 16 wasn't stopped by anybody but hisself....out of shape doesn't get blamed on any one but there self

It's not being a sour puss when they didn't shut him down for the most part they didn't shut him down at all, when he touched the ball he got at least 4 yards and he wasn't in there much..... just stating the facts

Maybe but y'all didn't stop 16 he was tired after the first quarter and cramping, along with the whole team.....so for you to say y'all stopped him is crazy.....he wasn't in the game the 2nd half maybe 25 percent of the time and when he got the ball he wasn't stopped, put him in on 2 pt conversion not cramping they're ain't very many stopping him from getting 3 yards.....good win for y'all but y'all didn't stop him
