Doesn’t John Curtis run an offense similar to this?.....honestly I hate watching this type of offense I wish haltom would have beat tastacos. I know the coaches will have the boys ready but I remember back when we played John Curtis they were able to grind out 1st downs and there is just nothing you can do when they get 2-3 yards per carry and take 6-7 minutes to score. Seems like we beat them on a field goal by one point or something final score was in the low 20s.

at best they slowed kc down a little in the run game...kc still had a lot of success running the ball from what I saw. Spiller had 153 yds and two tds and he is their only back. Qb had some ok runs up the middle. They got a whole different kind of animal coming at them tomorrow

not at all...just saw a simple speed option kc ran time and time again that exposed them...why we wouldn’t do that also since we like to run and have a strong run game

Did you watch the game? Klein Collins moved the ball really well rushing and passing really they just don’t pass much. The two ints hurt them but seemed to move at ease at times until they got to the red zone most ppl talking about vandegrift defense and they may be good but their offense is nothing spectacular. I just don’t think they can score enough at the end of the day UNLESS we get sloppy.

Would love for John Tyler to keep rolling but after seeing lone star destroy Lufkin I just don’t see it. I know Lufkin had 3rd strong qb, bad coaching etc but they got dominated by lone star.

Klein Collins ran the speed option/option with a lot of success on vandegrift. They were able to run the ball in general very well. It might make it a lower scoring game but we might rely on the run a little more in this one.
