It probably would have made a big difference, but #2 Jaylon Jimmerson played the entire game against Rusk.

I agree with you Eagle26. The bye week has allowed Rusk to keep working while getting some kids healed up. Rusk Eagles will be ready to work come Friday night.

I believe both sets of Eagles played hard. Tatum has the talent and once they put it all together they are gonna be just fine. Are you saying due to the center rocking the ball it was drawing your d-line offsides and there was no penalties called? I only recall 2 penalties for offsides on Tatum. The center is able to make preliminary adjustments to the ball and can tilt it up to 90 degrees as long as the ball is not lifted off the ground or pushed forward off the ground or flipped end to end. Pretty experienced center who has started 3 years for Rusk. I would think an opposing coach would point out an infraction that blatant to a referee if it was occurring an entire game. Hasnt been penalized before and more than likely wont get penalized during season or playoffs. Good luck to Tatum the rest of the way. Stay healthy and keep working hard.
