I just tried this and it seems to be working on my laptop...Put your cursor on the page you want to open, then right click, then choose open in new window and it should work and take you to the correct page...use the same steps to go backwards too...good luck!

I do so understand what is like, and you are correct Pax, Gunter has every right to be proud of their recent past and the direction their program is headed , no disrespect intended towards to Gunter folks, team, or community , just stirring the pot a little ...I think you understand what that's like as well...

Thanks for your kind comments guys, I have had way too much coffee and raw adrenaline coarsing thru my old body to be trying to type and think at the same time on here... but, now that some of that coffee buzz has worn off , you guys are starting to build a great legacy for your own town and community. Certainly our coaches , boys and fans know the challenges we will face on Friday and It has been awhile since some of us old DF Tiger fans and teams have been in the position we find ourself in again right now, so maybe you will allow us DF fans to embellish the moment, and know that we respect what your guys are doing because we have been where you guys are ( up & coming program & top of the world) again forgive me for some of my remarks I made in haste earlier . I am sorry that I let my emotions get ahead of my typing ... that being said, let's play some football... safe travels, and hope everyone has a blessed thanksgiving with family & friends.

I doubt that it will... Lot of swag talk for a town that only has one state football championship trophy in the case ... walk down the hall of our field house and you will be blinded by all the bling reflecting off all those "Gold Footballs " we have front and center of our trophy case(s) then go down the hall a little further and you will be blown away by when you see the tributes to all the former Tiger players that are , or were , playing at the college level, then go around the corner and see the 15 or so ex-Tigers that took their game to the NFL...you guys have a very good team no doubt about it , and you had a perfect team last year, but we have have all that and more . The 83' Tiger team is thought by many "Football Folks across the state" to be the best team that ever put on the pads, maybe need to do a little research on the, team, town, community of who you guys are going up against on Friday... and I know people are going to get on here and say that all that great history is yesterday's news ...but when you have grandparents, cousins , uncles , and a whole town, around all the time coaching you up,and encouraging you as only people that have lived can do , then you go to school everyday and see all the history in front of you ... then I say it does matter and does make a difference... and I bet other folks from towns like Katy, Southlake Carroll, Celina, Lake Travis, and others would tell you the same thing! I have great respect for Gunter and the power program that you guys are building . I know you know how much hard work, effort and sacrifice , and lucky bounces it took for you guys to get your championship last year ... but we know a little about all that too... many times over!!!

I did watch the Gunter/Boling game last night ...and I thought to myself man I hope Gunter thinks we are going to be another Boling (nothing against them Boling boys , as they at least got there last year while we were home watching on TV) but trust me , we are not Boling ... you will see what I am talking about soon enough!!

Maybe we don't try to catch you ... just block your view long enough for our backs to be out of your view and downfield 10 yards or so...

I just finished watching some Gunter Tiger videos on You Tube...also,watched the shortened, edited version of the Gunter vs Boling state game from last year and to borrow a line from the Matthew McConaughey (TEXAS/USC Football Commercial) from a few years back...Beautiful Trophy...Well Deserved...Congratulations! There has been a lot said about the speed of DF and I know that historically DF is know for their overall speed across the board, and this year is no exception, but I now believe Gunter to have some speed of their own at certain positions...this should be a good one...

Seen quite a few of EW games this year and they are going to be a hard out, don't know anything about Holliday except the fact that they are still playing means they must be doing some things right. That being said, I am still taking EW in a close one ...

Has Gunter been in 3A long, or have they just recently moved up a classification? Someone asked me last week who DF had next and I told them they had Gunter on Friday and that I heard Gunter was ranked 1st in the state and won the state championship last year in their first year of football. He told me that was incorrect that Gunter had been around for awhile and that it was not ya'lls first year to play football. He corrected me and said I must have been thinking of Brock, which I think I was ... I have seen the GT logo somewhere before but I always thought it was the logo for Georgetown. I think I remember Gunter as being a basketball school, (no disrespect) that it just what I was thinking...
