Daingerfield can definitely beat anybody in the state. As long as they show up ready and don't beat themselves, which since playoffs started they have left no doubt. Believe they have what it takes. Hope to see them toe to toe with Gunter/Canadian.

Proud of our boys. May not look like it but was proud of the way our defense played. Gave up big plays but we knew some of that would happen. Offense just couldn't get anything going consistently and our guys were gassed.....mostly due to newtons d. Porter is an unbelievable talent. Ready to watch Newton vs Daingerfield. Somebody beat Gunter!

Seahorn was the best player on the field last year......porter for Newton has taken his place this year. Gonna be tough rest of his career.

Newtons defense winning the game. Harmonys defense has played well but their offense has put them in bad spots. Offense started moving ball in 2nd quarter but Newton D holding strong when it matters. Newtons speed is better than advertised.

No doubt. District champ doesn't mean anything if district runner up becomes regional champ. D-field with the "easy" road this year. Should be a monster regional final either way.

GOOD! Red eagles thrive as dogs. They've been told their whole life their not fast enough, not athletic enough. Nothing new to them.

I just remember crickets from some certain Figs after the game last year.....All jokes aside, Harmony won't have the sleeper effect on Newton this year. Should be a good game. I think the red eagles get it done on the "big boy side of the bracket".

Kudos to Dfield. I thought Hooks would win a close game. Tigers never gave them a chance to keep it close. Well played. Go beat the powder blues.
