After 3 years of dominating 4AD2 you are so drunk on the feeling that you can't conceive the reality that PG is going to be the best team that you have played this season. I'm not much of a debater on here because it is fruitless until the game is actually played, but I have made my statements and will stand by them. PG will dominate the LOS on both sides of the ball. PG will run for 200+ yards wos will not score more than 14 points I will put my score prediction out there later this week, but you can take those three statements and tell me how wrong I am after the game Friday.

No worries mate. I will be there Wednesday around 4 till Friday night. Unless Longview wins tomorrow, then I'm hanging in for Saturday too. As far as them running the ball on your defense, it WILL happen. All 3 of their last opponents laughed about the wing-t and how they were gonna shut it down. You too will see that this ain't your grandpappy's wing-t. PG only ran about 40% of their offense last night, they didn't need anything else, and they can throw the ball very effectively when they choose to. You should be concerned about scoring on offense though. Their front 7 will dominate the LOS and your small QB might not last through the first quarter.

I think that borderline late hit on the sideline might have woke up Stephenville. Not saying that they're gonna make a come back or anything, just saying their offense showed signs of life after that and drove the field.

High school sports should be about life lessons that these kids can apply later in adult life. So let's just say that we put this in a life scenario. Refugio kid is now 27 and out for a night on the town and he gets into a fight with another man. He has the other man on the ground and doesn't stop punching him because he was taught "no mercy". Maybe he even has a nurse come tend to the guy so that he can beat on him some more. The point is, what is coach herring teaching these kids about life when he throws the ball in the end zone with under 2 minutes left in a 30 point game? What is he teaching them when he calls time out on defense with under a minute left in the game up by 42? People that live their adult lives this way are duche bags that no one respects. so what would you consider the guy that teaches kids that this behavior is the way to do it? Just because you can do something to someone doesn't make it the right thing to do.

Lol, I wasn't knocking your football knowledge Matt, I think you are awesome! I was simply pointing out that Longview has overcome the odds before and definitely have the ability to win this football game. You know, one of those don't get discouraged because the experts picked against you type things. In the original picks at the beginning of the playoffs you picked KC as your state champion and had them beating Midway to get there. Longview overcame a lot of "stuff" in the KC game, made lots of mistakes and still seemed in control of the game after the 1st quarter. Based on the way Longview has played in the playoffs, I believe that they actually matchup better against Midway than they did against KC, not to mention that Longview is more healthy now than against KC.

You guys from wos sound like Mike Tyson in '97 still trying to intimidate based on your past. Next thing you know, all you wos boys will be sporting new tribal tattoos on your faces so you can still intimidate opponents. Last time I checked, that Championship trophy don't get handed to you because you've been the best for the last few years, it gets handed to who is best THIS year and that team is clearly PLEASANT GROVE. That's how I figure. It doesn't matter if you have heard of them or not, if they have a pedigree or not or even if they are a member of the "club" of elite programs. What matters is Josh Gibson showed up a few years ago with a mission to build an elite program and this is the year the entire state of Texas gets introduced to them. Come next Friday, everyone will know who Pleasant Grove is and what their program is about. Go focus on beating Wimberly, cause everyone who already knows about PG, wants you in that game next week and cannot wait to watch them mule knuckle wos. Good luck
