BA's sister is the CFO of Santa Fe ISD and BA has been trying to get hold of her since she found out this morning......she did get her voice mail and she has left MULTIPLE messages........YES it is tragic that our society has said that we "spare the rod".......I for one am GLAD that MY father is not around.......he ALWAYS said when I got "bumpy" with him that he was calling the cops......and it WASN'T for me.....it was for HIM....because I knew if it EVER got to that......police needed to be called to SAVE ME!!!!!!!

Carth.......last week we had our FFA banquet and the kids fixed the meal.....brisket/pork roast/...AND YARD BIRD.....and ALL the fixins.....our Ag teacher is HARD CORE "OLD SCHOOL"......and he is as "country" as they come....GREAT GUY....and his botany class supplied ALL the stuff for the salad...GROWN by the kids in their greenhouse......ONE of the items on the menu was FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!!!!!!(from the greenhouse)......HUGE slices and they even made a basil dipping sauce for them......IT WAS DELISH!!!!!!........BUT almost no one ate them because.....they were "labeled" Fried Green Tomatoes".....and these people up here......said.....GREEN TOMATOES??????....NOPE ain't touching that stuff!!!!! When I came thru the line....I LOADED UP!!!!!....Guess these folks "UP HERE" would rather chew on the "White Mint" in the urinal....or the Big Blue Mint!!!!

Carth....back in 1975 they were called M-60's....1/4 stick of dynamite......they would put a 2 ft hole in the ground!!!!!....just HAD to put one of those in the bathroom steam heater.....WITH the supt. IN the bathroom doing his "morning constitutional" when it went off.(didn't know he was in there).....today.....me and my "cohorts" would be LIFERS at Guantonimo!!!!!!......back then $281.17 was MY 1/3 of the payment for damages....AND since my dad was School Board Pres. HE took the $281.17 out of MY backside....I still have scars!!!!!!

WOOOOOO. HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!.....10 days and counting......got in the mail....ALL the DOD paperwork to fill out for me to ride in the helicopter and shoot the guns.....DOD wants to know EVERYTHING about you.....they wanted to know if I had any outstanding warrants for my arrest..AND if I had ever been questioned by law enforcement....hmmmmm.......there WAS that time in 1975 when I blew UP the school bathroom.......I feel like Ron "tator salad" White.......OLD Supt. does call me "uni-bomber" at school reunions!!!!......hope that doesn't keep me from flying and shooting!!!!!....."I have experience"!!!!

Carth....I was "thinking"...and THAT lately has been VERY DANGEROUS for me.......back in 1996 I was hired by a school in the Metroplex to be the AD/HFC and one of the 1st things I had to do was to hire a NEW Head Boys Basketball Coach.....I interviewed some REALLY good guys...but ONE stood out.....was a hispanic man from South San Antonio......had been a HC and had been VERY successful.....when I offered him the job....he kind of hem hawed around and then said...."Coach I want to say UP FRONT....I kinda have a language problem.....me being young and inexperienced told him...NO PROBLEM....he WAS hispanic AND had a pretty severe hispanic tone when he talked.....I told him that we would help him ANY WAY we could to help him be successful......everything went fine......UNTIL basketball season started and we had our FIRST ballgame against Farmersville......within 1 minute of the start of the game THIS man went HAYWIRE!!!!! F-bombs.....M-truckers....and female dog words came out CONSTANTLY!!!!!!! At half-time I had most of my parents wanting me to FIRE HIM right now and in a hurry!!!!!!!....I went to him in the dressing room and I walked in the door....and he walked up to me and said......"too much"?????......Coach I TOLD YOU I HAD A LANGUAGE PROBLEM!!!!.....Jan. 1 we had a NEW HEAD Basketball Coach

Dirty......IF they play on the same field...and I'm sure they do.....back in 10 or 11.......Carthage was in their district and they had a "frog strangling" down pour on Wednesday and on Thursday they brought in 5 dump trucks of sand to help soak up the water and keep the grass from tearing up........Coach Surrant was so upset and so were the kids....the field was SO BAD....was like quicksand!!!!!....starters didn't play but 2-3 series....then they stood in ankle deep mud and water the rest of. the game.... Back in 86-87....Alto was playing Garrison AT Garrison.....and Alto played on a HAY FIELD......with 2"-3" of water on it......Alto was use to short grass.....well they DID have Steve Loftin and a few other "speed burners".....DID slow Alto down...THAT was a miserable game on the sidelines!!!!!.....I think I threw THOSE socks AWAY!!!!....AND my old leather spot-bilt shoes were NEVER the same after that!!!!

Kirt......when we went up there in 83.....remember we got to Anchorage around 8 PM AST......that's 11 pm TEXAS time......so we got to the Captain Cook....got in our rooms by 9:45/10......and the News was on....so we watched the weather and the ol boy said......"The sun will set at 2:38 a.m. and rise at 2:52 a.m......needless to say....BA "the science teacher" and Me the crazy fool that listened to her....stayed up and watched the sun "bounce" off the Horizon!!!!!!!.....they said that during the summer month's they have the LOWEST crime rate.....BUT in the winter when it's dark....they have per capita the HIGHEST crime rate......But while up there we kept seeing the A-10 flying around.....when we went to Ali-es-ka???....the ski resort saw all the flood lights so people could ski during the day in the winter.....BUT those planes kept flying over and I guess there was a target area around...kept hearing those "babies" purrr and growl with those gattling guns......had a cousin that was in the 82nd in Iraq during Desert Storm.....said those things SAVED their A$##$$ MANY TIMES .....as they were guarding those tank bladders near Bagdad.....

WELL.....AKA......according to Kirt.....there's your answer for the hog shooting!!! Kirt...you were stationed in Alaska???.....back in 1983.....my mom got this "BRILLIANT" idea to go to Alaska for 2 weeks and wanted to take me and BA......went to Ankorage, and spent 2-3 days....while there we stayed at the Captain Cook Hotel......we kept seeing these WEIRD looking planes flying around....so I asked one of the locals and they said was an UGLY A#@$$ kicking plane called the Thunderbolt.....1st time I had ever seen them....and the local said that it had a "mini" gun that was AWESOME.....when I got back to Texas I researched and found out that the A-10 WAS a "BAD MAMA".....we went during June and July......NEVER got use to the HEAVY DRAPES on the window to keep the sun out of my eyes at 2 AM in the morning!!!!!LOL. THAT and "fireweed" when we got to Skagway.....July 5th the flower was "almost" in FULL BLOOM.....and the cruise ship people were worried.....and lo and behold....Aug 18th got their 1st snow of the winter!!!!

AKA.....will "ask" the pilot if we can go THAT far south.......have shot coyotes from a helicopter in West Texas.......shootin "pigs" with a 50cal MIGHT be overkill.....and with the mini gun....LOL guess we wouldn't need tp process the meat....already be "sausage".......NOW the counselor's secretary says she wants to go.......SHE will be a "hoot".....she has a bumper sticker on her truck that says.....STAND BACK!!!! I have a 45 AND I have PMS!!!!....
