Does the new OC who came from Montgomery and has been a former Head man at Tomball have shot?

I played against the great Tenaha teams with Chavis as QB, but the 2006 Alto Yellowjacket Team was fairly Good. Offense scored 744 points and defense gave up 58 pts in 14 games. They had 9 shutouts and gave up 38 of those 58 in the State semi finals and Finals. All is on Maxpreps. Mid wins by 14 or bigger. More discipline and classer team then Marshall. Marshall have a few athletes but not much class. If Mid gets them down it is over. The teams they have beat all year they had the best athletes. The teams they have lose to had the better Athletes. They may have more athletes this week BUT Mid has few and a whole lot more discipline and self control.

Montgomery QB did go down but back up took last 2 possession down the field for TD's, one with no time on the clock and the game winner in OT. They are two different style QBs and both capable of winning games. Should be a good one with an OLD 75925 leading the "D".

Been to two 5A games this year and have not seen one offensive holding call. But I have seen OLINEMEN with hands full of jerseys, hands outside the shoulder pads, and Defensive lineman taken to the ground like a tackle and not one holding call. Been involved in this game for over 35 years and the defense has no chance if holding is not going to be called. SO what is the rule these days?

Looking at Alto's history why haven't the administration looked at the Keith Gardner era for ex assistances or former players who played on his teams and now are coaches for the AD/Head coach position? Keith was there from 2005-2013 and every team made the playoffs, 4 teams made the quarter finals, and two teams didn't lose a game and brought the only State Championships to Alto. Just a thought.

I have seen both teams play and with that said A&M Consolidated not as good as in the past but have a tradition and know how to win. Pine Tree on the other hand will have more talent and will be quicker, but are new to the playoffs and winning the big games. Pine Tree has the kids to win, but tradition will win out and Consolidated will get the win in a close one.

Huntsville is very good, they are not flashy but very consistent well coached team. Defense is their strength, offense just gets the job done. No flash, no trickery just hard nose football. What I have seen is that hey haven't turned their QB a loose yet and when they do he is going to be something. Good Luck to both teams, but will take the Hornets in this one.

Was Murr trying to lose the game with less the 2:40 on the clock he was trying to score all he needed to do was take a knee 4 times to win the game, garrison had no time outs, that was not smart gave Garrison a chance. Be smart coach!!!!
