Rivercrest has come out running the last several seasons but then get to their first playoff game and completely choke. They have had the athletes the last several years and have had a great preseason and district record. But then they lose out first round. I can't figure out what the issue is. Maybe injuries going in to the playoffs that has limited them to continue on? Maybe they can get it together this year and make a deep run at it.

Do we know how many applied or how many have been called for interviews?

I wonder if his wife has visited Clarksville or Red River County for that matter?

Have they received a decent amount of applicants for this job?

Kennedale was averaging about 43 per points per game and the Paris Defense held them to a field goal. Late in the 4th the 2nd string went in and gave up some points. I believe this game will be the battles of the Defense. Paris doesn't have the strongest Offense (from what I have seen) but one heck of a defense. LV is a very strong Offense, again, from what I have seen. My projection is 31-24 with LV pulling out the win. But it should be a heck of a game.

Did they ever open that job up? Or was it a done deal in the beginning? I don't recall ever seeing it open.

I think he is just a butt hurt, poor sport from Celina that can't get over the fact they lost last week. Argyle is the better two of the teams that will play this week. But I don't see a beat down coming, I see a very close game. It will be Argyle 28-20. I wouldn't be so bold as to state that Argyle is the best team in 4A either.

I could ask you the same! I don't have a "dog in the fight". But as an observation, you are pretty confident with the 3 Touchdowns Melissa is going to beat Paris by. So, I am going to be pretty confident and guess Argyle by atleast 3 TD's over Melissa!

Have they made calls yet? I was told a current coach on staff and a coach that was there a few years ago are top contenders. I think both have already been referenced on this thread.
