Anyone knowing of matchups with locations and dates in the East Texas area would be greatly appreciated if you would post here.

Hey fellas I know we are all focused on the football playoffs but in a few weeks it’ll be over and it’ll be on to basketball. I really enjoy going to watch good basketball matchups around East Texas. Any ideas or advice on the best and easiest way to find the games worth traveling to see?

Rusk still has a couple guys that are plenty capable and they also showed they can score runs against the best team in 4a in most peoples eyes. I’m from Rusk so of course I’m taking them. I think the Eagles will keep it close and have a chance at the end. Won’t be as dominant of a pitching display as JD would give but Circle and Rawlinson will get the job done with a solid defense behind them. Pretty sure even PG was surprised at how many runs they put up yesterday. I don’t expect that to repeat itself today.

Yea I didn’t think about the issue finding a field and makes sense to plan ahead assuming something crazy doesn’t happen next week to rearrange district positions.

I have a question about Rusk. The players are being told that they made the playoffs, which is true after the forfeit, but they are also being told their first round opponent will be Salado and that it’s scheduled to be played November 13th. It’s even already on the Maxpreps website. How can this already be set? I mean I know the chances are slim but what happens if Rusk beats Center next Friday? Then I believe they would finish 3rd In the district and would face the second place team instead of the district winner. I’m pretty confused on how this can already be set. Any input anyone??

Yea Rusk should come in 4th unless they can do something against Center. It’s in Center though so it’ll be tough over there. The Eagles gave Jasper way more than they expected for the first 3 quarters. That strip sack that got returned for the TD late killed all the momentum and Rusk couldn’t get it going again after that. As far as this week, I see Carthage pulling their starters just after halftime. Rusk has no offensive line and will not be able to move the ball very well. The QB is good but has to have time to let a play develop and they haven’t done that well in most games. Carthage will take it against my Eagles fairly easy I believe. Just hoping for a clean injury free game.

Does anyone know if the district matchups for the playoffs have already been set and if so where can I find that info? Just trying to see what districts will match up. Thanks In advance for any info!

Idk and don’t care about everyone’s political hypocrisy or conspiracy theories. I just know that my better half is terribly sick with it right now. Just seeing her I don’t wish it on anyone. I hope something shifts soon though. And I don’t want high school sports to get shut down. That would be devastating to my kid. I do wish people would take it serious and care about others regardless of your beliefs. BTW, she is gonna be ok but it’s no joke man and it’s got her down worse than I’ve ever seen her.

I really do hope they do well this season.
