I’m really not smart. Which is why I stay in MY lane of expertise. First, I was Dr. Hartt, then a scorn coach and now I’m a teacher’s aide? Which one is it? Or is it all of the above? Keep racking your brain a little bit harder and you might figure it out. You are absolutely correct about the sometimes the hiring process doesn’t go as planned. But, if you’re a good interviewer you will catch on to when someone is BS’n you. Might be the reason we did not have those issues when Hartt was there. Hopefully all parties involved have learned a valuable lesson these last few years.

What do you do for a living? Give your opinion on a Texas football forum? Have you ever actually played football or any sports before? Or took a state board test of any kind? I’m curious why you feel you have so much knowledge from looking on the outside in? That’s usually not how it works. Do you actually like the direction Tatum took these last couple of years? Be honest with yourself. Also, you’re projecting. This whole thread is full of triggered men who are threatened by an opinion that differs from theirs and have a hard time accepting facts. Fact is the past hires were not either a good fit or were pushed out because they weren’t allowing outside noise control them.

Experience in what? Education? Sports? From my knowledge no one on the board has any experience on those topics. Nonetheless, hopefully they have learned their lesson on overstepping boundaries and not leaving the real decision making up to the professionals.

Ok, whatever year you said is correct. If the topic is about the new coach then Hartt should’ve never been brought up? Which is why I initially commented. You seem to be so well informed and connected, I will let you start the thread. I’m sure someone will tell me when it is started and I’ll come back. I keep saying this is a good hire and we keep going back to none important issues like a specific year.

Of course the current superintendent would say bring who and what you want. The program is ran into the ground. Tatum is the laughing stock of East Texas. You are talking about specific years I’m talking about the state the program is in now. Again, my original statement was about calling Hartt shady for making a decision he felt was best for the school. Lastly, I believe I stated this was a good hire. No, I actually think kneeling was a good hire. I think calling someone shady because you don’t agree with them is the problem. Andy Evans wasn’t an ex player. Neither were any of the last AD’s hired.

Could it have been because Hartt didn’t want him to do to Tatum what it is now? No familiar faces? Tearing up a relationships that had been formed? A disconnect from the school and the community. I would be willing to bet if people actually talked to the heart of Tatum they would all say the same thing. It’s not the same and not in a good way. I don’t believe in airing out dirty laundry but if we were to speak on shady business I would think we could speak on the current leadership.

You gots to be outta your rabbit mind if you think Dr. Hartt is sitting around on a forum discussing Tatum with a bunch of people wishing they could’ve played any sport. Instead of putting in time and energy into trying to figure who I am you should be putting the energy to find a way to bring the spirit back to Tatum. Doubling back to the statement that Keeling applied in 2015 (I don’t know if he did or didn’t) he wasn’t the applicant who was rejected LEGALLY by Dr. Hartt. I know the word legal gets you guys a lil frazzled.

Pretty sure you have the wrong information…..the old superintendent must’ve not let you run over him and followed the law? We all know Tatum has had an issue following the law these last few years.

How many of Tatum superintendents have you met? Or are you talking in general? Tatum’s former superintendent was very approachable and very much inclusive.
