Getting blown out by SA after going to state last year speaks volumes about Tenaha! As bad as we may be in basketball this year, we beat 2 teams in Nac’s district already. Nac was good when I watched us play them in Game 1. Lots of size and talent. Nac would destroy yalls basketball team this year.

I just heard this job may be going to someone with an overall coaching record of (1-19).

There’s a significant drop this year compared to the past 4 years. The team is young. They will be good again soon though. Coach Harrison does a great job.

Nac needs new blood. A younger coach that can get those kids to play. I seen them in 7 on 7. They have talent. We played Tyler Lee and Nac. Nac is equal on talent. They need someone who can corral those kids. I would love to see football at Nac be good!!

What’s Nac got returning next year? How did the JV do? Heard yalls coach is retiring. Leaving on a high note? (5-5)

The bigger question is are they really going to non-renew their coach and hire another one that was non-renewed??

He wasn’t a starter but we did lose someone to Shelbyville. The only returner is the QB....whom we are supposed to lose soon from what everyone is saying.

We are young!! Only 1 kid on the team from last year. It will get ugly, early!

Read in Dave Campbell where they have 1700+ kids. That’s a lot of kids. They are borderline 5A D1 I would think. They just can’t get it together for whatever reason!

But you haven’t done anything in football. I’m not acting. San Augustine won more games in your stadium this year than your own team has in the past 3 years. I’m basing that off of your complaints that you had all year.

Last good season you had? Going 1 round with a team that had 2 athletes that play at the University of Texas isn’t necessarily an accomplishment.

Center’s athletes will not go 0-10, 1-9, etc. Regardless of what happens or who is hired, Center will have a competitive football team every year. Was it a good idea to split it? Probably not, however, if they hire a guy that knows his X’s & O’s, can relate to the kids, and is passionate about coaching football.....they will be fine. The AD role is administrative only. That person won’t coach any sports at all! Splitting this job is not a reflection of the brass at Center ISD. It’s a clear reflection of the previous AD’s mismanagement of the athletic department. Sounds to me like we are trying to save our program from whatever has went on these past few years.
