Looking better just need to clean up all these unnessisary penalties that are killing us. Bunch of non-sense that should not have happened all night. Way too many flags. Got some tough games ahead of us and we can't play like that against stiffer competition. Good game though fellas and just keep driving. Them Buckeyes are looking stronger for sure.

I'm thinking so. Gilmer seems to be much improved over last year for sure. Both teams are coming off of good wins and should be a good matchup. I'm thinking Van gives Gilmer a tight game, but I think the Buckeyes will come up with a W (35 to 28 kind of game). Whatever happens I just hope both teams come out healthy.

Yeah here is a map of the route the buses will be taking. Its gonna be a logistical nightmare parking this year. So dont be in any hurry to and from.

Not too many posting much. Is it game day yet? I'm so ready to get this started, for better or worse, because I'm married to the game lol. It's going to be a crazy parking situation this year so bring your walking shoes or catch a bus. We will all be filtering through the same areas.

Dont get me wrong I wish we were firing on all cylinders with the 1s, 2s, and 3s and running the scores up even in a scrimmage, but at the end of the day that is not what this is all about. It's about playing players and get game time scenario experience. Got a lot of kids moving up that need that varsity playing time. We all make mistakes just how we learn from them. Only way to grow and to get better is to put them out there.

Yeah we had several starters that didn't even play last night. 1 key player from last week could not be there either. So a lot of players got to play and not just the 1s. Seemed like there was some miscommunication with some of the backups and we need to work on some timing with the receivers and QBs. It's hard to judge off of last nights scrimmage because we rotated a lot of players in positions. Not a horrible showing...Just showing what still needs to be worked on. Getting reps in different scenarios is the main focus at this point before next week gets here. It will be better come game day.

Ouch that one hurts. Brings back memories from a certain game lol. It was a battle though down to the last play.

We are playing in Henderson tonight. Wish it would cool off a little lol.

We will see what tonights scrimmage has in store for us. Hopefully it's another good showing to help prepare for the real deal next week against ATL.

You know Gilmers a second half team lol..(Most of the time) I would love to put a gap in the score, but Atlanta is usually a tough opponent. I'm sure Gilmer will be Gilmer and everything is possible.

Man I'm sure it will be a close game as usual, but im afraid them Rabbits gonna come up a little short. First Home game of the season and the Buckeyes have something to prove right now. Seems like they have a little more drive this year as well. Still got a few things to iron out till then, but they will be ready. I'm so ready to get this season started.

Kilgore looked pretty good for the most part. Have a few things to iron out, but we do too. Couple little errors that were made to Gilmers favor that helped us out a lot in the end. I think both teams came away with a little more knowledge. I think Kilgore looks better than last year for sure. If they can break through that line they have some pretty good speed. Kilgore lines looked pretty good and the DBs stayed right on top of our guys. Only gave up a couple of big plays. I see lots of potential for the team.

Oh I can't wait for the Gilmer VS Gladewater games to start again. I am Alum from G-water but my kids go to Gilmer. Got family on both sides and always a lot of trash talking between us. I have converted to the land of Buckeyes, but still follow them Bears. I just have to support the community I live in and my kids school. My kids make me take my finger out of the air during the bears school song. They say it ain't right lol.

I was there and that was an awful game. I support those Bux every week, but I'm afraid they laid down that game. Looked beat mentally and physically from my side of the field. I hope they have a little more drive in them this year. Just seemed like they lacked a spark. Can't wait to see what this season has in store for us. A lot of young players got more varsity playing time last year.

Listening to the game and the band will be playing in the 3rd quarter. Help make some noise for the boys on the field. I guess this was something they did last week since they had several band members out. Carried on to this week. Makes sense if it works. Let's go Rabbs!

Yeah I keep watching the weather myself. I sure was wanting a dry game. No excuses for anyone about the weather lol. Wanting to see 2 good teams battle it out to the end. Looks like we will be bringing out the rain gear once more. Hope the weather moves on for sure.

Well ATL I guess this Buckeye will be joining you tomorrow. Since the game time has been moved and it's right around the corner from my shop. Might as well go watch some football.

Gotta go with the Buckeyes. They are looking a lot better than earlier games. I think they starting to pull together at the right time. Regardless I think this will be a good game for both teams. I believe they will feed off each other and give a good showing. Gilmers D is looking much tighter for sure.

I'm so ready for tomorrow's game. My old lady keeps telling me to shut up about it. I think tomorrow's matchup will be a good game. Just praying my Bux come out on top. Last week's game I think put a little extra pep in everyone's step around here.
