Earlier I meant to express that the Freshman class is 30-0 since starting the 7th grade! That is including having a couple of them moving up to varsity already this year!

Congrats to both Teams! The Bears showed a lot of heart and hats off to the staff for the adjustments made ! With 2 freshmen and 5 sophomores on the field and a undefeated 9 th grade since they started playing even against Carthage- PG - Gilmer Etc - the future is extremely bright in Bear Nation! The run starts NOW!

John Berry and his staff at Bear Nation have done an incredible job! StRting 5 sophomores and a Freshman and make that 2 after tonight when one takes snaps from center! Picked 4th in District and going to win it and then go deep in the playoffs and could very well win the the whole thing! And the best is yet to come!

Wow- what a game! Hats off to West Rusk! They were the better team tonight. I would imagine we will see each other again! They played lights out on defense!

It’s is amazing how fast our good neighbors to the north are hitting the panic button. You have a great group of coaches that a lot of schools would love to have! Just maybe the talent pool is not quite as stocked as in the past. One thing for sure- the move in D-1 talent has kept the program going for years! Without those you probably would be about where you are now!

Yep and our defense was without our best linebacker and had another tossed during the game! Wait til we’re full strength!
