Here is my opinion on District 12 EC walks past woodville and everyone else in the district for first place. Woodville scrapes by Anahuac for second place. after powerful RB Martin & most linemen graduate. Anahuac finesses their way past Buna after returning many starters and new coaching staff. Buna easily defeats Hardin and makes it into the playoffs once again with great coaching and great discipline. The rest are: Hardin orange-field Kirbyville Warren

My dark horse for District 12 is going to be Anahuac....hear me out. Team is loaded with talent just as much talent as Woodville and more than Buna, and they have their new head coach and offensive staff from Newton coming in. It could be a long shot but I do see the Panthers making some noise in District 12 winning it ehhh idk probably not but competing for top three spots yes. Really just comes down to how they respond to the new coaching staff.

I feel this hire could definitely be a "splash" hire and shake things up a little bit somehow in East Texas.

WoAh! From what I've heard around town this hire is going to be a great hire for the Panthers if they get who I think they are. Going to turn some heads as well. This thing is not a done deal like some think.

Also, I'm not sure what East Bernard has coming back next year, but if this is based off of this last season EB was better then all of these teams by a lot. Newton beat DF 79-12 EB was the best team newton has played in the last two years. Especially defensively

The way I look at it I keep Newton at 1. top dog stays top dog until they get beat will they be the best team probably not....but top dog stays top dog until it's obvious that they are not.

Everyone within their district are updating their facilities, they're trying to keep up.

Anahuac is open, a Southeast Texas town not sure what the talent pool down there is looking like right now, but I have all new facilities that might draw some attention. New Turf football and baseball fields.

We could honestly very well be seeing another Grandview Malakoff state championship next year. Both teams are returning a lot of players both QB's coming back and both teams know what it takes and what they have to do to get back. Then you look at the top ten and see how much everyone else is returning and it makes you re-think everything I mean good lord Marion........17 really?.........I don't even know what region you're in but 17.... d****it boy. 3A division 1 is going to be fun next year i'm telling you that now.

I know little about this district and it's way too early to know anything, but I do not see Van being anything under three. i see them being top three for sure. I mean they went 10-3 last year 4-1 in district they did way more than just compete they showed out. They're the only team that placed in the top three with their QB coming back, they lost a little to graduation but have a lot coming back as well, so to say they get 4th that just seems a little arrogant.
