Really a homer lol if you only knew! When someone talks real football they are either a homer or disrespectful. You can group me with whoever you want makes me no difference.

First of all I was not being disrespectful toward the troup rb it was an opinion I evaluated a key player for troup. After the waskom game I heard of this beast running back troup had so I went and investigated. I don't see a beast rb. Second of don't get so but hurt and take your own advice and reread my comments no disrespect to troups program or any player. Third from what I've seen newton is not "blessed" with 4 great players and a bunch of above average players to help them. They have been blessed with great men who have built a foundation to not only teach the game of football but to mold them into men, a loyal and supportive community through the good and bad. These young men were blessed alright but the talent wasn't given it was EARNED!!!!

I will not argue his strength or his toughness for sure but Barlow a college wideout lol that kid is built for the running back position.

I'm with Jett all those mistakes against stiffer competition usually equates in a loss but idk if that competition is in this years playoff.

If telling me laser combine is suppose to convince me that the kid is fast you are sadly mistaken. 4.6 for a rb is not fast when you have offensive lineman running 4.6. But Idk it just my opinion from watching film. Now the quarterback is a big tall kid with a decent arm and good vision.

I bet it's not to play the rb position.

I think troups best and only chance would be to lull newton to sleep with the big back and catch them sleeping and stacked in the box and run play action for a big play.

Just football talk not questioning the kids toughness, heart, or ability. I see a big kid or doesn't run well laterally but a good ball player. I point out the kids that touch the ball the most.

My statements above are just observations not meant to be insults. Just curious Andy does Alex and roland still on the feed store in troup.

You take me wrong I've worked around troup and know the small town that it is and how impressive it is for them to be this deep in the playoffs. I just think this years newton team is playing a higher level of football.

Grand saline also scored 20 on them I don't see them stopping that newton squad.

Gilmers offense and troups offense are two totally different things. I don't know what everyone sees in #24 rb for troup just a big slow kid ( that will lower his head) and their offensive reminds me of boiling last year big but high out of their stance. Newton did play sloppy ( I know the stats) I expect a better first half but that's it.

You dangerfield fans are salty lol nobody has crowned anybody but newton is the favorite for a reason.
