For all the people on here that said Longview was gonna beat Tascosa Huge and by a landslide... yeah... 3 points is a lot. LOL ... and for everyone saying Tascosa played dirty and is a dirty team.. Who's team got the dirty penalties? LOL It seams like people are just mad cause the Rebels started making a 4th quarter come back and the game could have easily gone Tascosa's way if Lobos didn't land on that fumble with a minute and a half left.... You know you were getting scaaaaaared. Nevertheless, Longview Lobos did WIN and Big Congrats for going on to the final round... It's been a pleasure poking fun and debating with ya Lobo fans.... Good luck next weekend and go beat West Brook !!!!

Tascosa kids been playing smash mouth football since 4th grade too and all them hits you showing in that video are exactly how Tascosa hits too. I truly believe it'll be a great game because physically, (though you may not want to believe it because of your narrow one-sided views), we are meeting our match and it should be a very interesting game on seeing who wears who down first.

At the end of the day, everyone's here because they love the hell outta HS football and especially your home based team... Seems like a few peeps here be getting their feathers all ruffled up when they read or see something they don't agree with but hey... that's what hardcore football fans is all about... I'm rooting for Tascosa all day and Texas Tech all day and Dallas Cowboys all day!!!! When someone here joked that the Rebels mascot looks like Pancho Villa dude.. I laughed and rolled with it... who cares.. it's smack talk for the smack mouth football were about to see this Saturday. I can't wait... SO EXCITED!!!!

I know the Lobos are a superb football team.. nothing but respect... honestly you all will be harder to beat and a true test of character than the the finals match up if we're hopefully able to make it there in my opinion.... I truly believe that we are playing just as good as any team left in the playoffs and with a little luck, we're looking to go all the way... much love and respect to the Lobos!!!

Nobody thinks Rebels offense is unsolvable... same as the Lobos offense isn't unsolvable... The last 3 metroplex teams Tascosa played all had great fast Qbs and Rebels defense stopped them all eventually... Arlington (ranked 11th when we played them) who beat Martin and Lamar (2 great teams) and Tascosa had them down 35 -3 right before the half... let some of the senior bench play the second half since it was a playoff game opportunity.... Tascosa all day... you'll see #RebelNation

Defense on Rebels is pretty solid... alot of speed upfront and they hit hard... Haltoms quarterback (Michael Black) is one of the best in Texas and though he had a few good plays for the most part Tascosa shut him down over and over to the point of frustration outta Haltom... On one of the last plays of the game he got sacked so hard, his helmet flew off and he needed to be carried off the field. Tascosas defense is playing exceptionally well compared to how they were playing earlier in the season.... They've been on fire since the playoffs stared... and the offense although I admit can be stopped sometimes, manages to pull out certain plays that will catch the whole defense by surprise while they run it past them.... should be a hell of a game!

Tascosa all day... Rebels defense is too strong and fast for anything Lobos are bringing... and the offense is hard to stop when you don't know whats going on... I think it'll be a close game because I respect what the Lobos are bringing to the table but they are about to meet their match physically and mentally..... Tascosa 28 Longview 21
