In my lifetime, I don't believe I have seen a Cowboy team where the offense is way ahead of the defense this early in the year. They have some improving to do.

At the very first of the season, I did an assement of the team from what I saw on the roster. The players I identified, I was confident their defense would be solid. My worry was the offense, and depth. Today I'm not worried about the offense, I believe you are spot on in your Assement. Injuries are always a part of the game, I just pray they don't have any major ones. But, I pray for every team on that. Gonna be another fun year.

After watching that video, I am very impressed with Nate Williams. This kid is a far better athlete than I thought He is going to help this team emensely. I also thought of something else after leaving Pro Cuts, where I was. I believe Nate can be as, if not, more effective running this offense than Josh Foster was. Now before you jump all over me, I'm not saying Nate is the better athlete. Nate throws better on the run than Josh did, and he puts it where his receivers can catch it. Also he is a pretty darn good runner as well. I saw a very good passing game in those highlights, against good competition. All this leads to being effective.

I agree Gatson is a top rated player. I could see that his freshman year. But, I'm wondering why coach is not running him that much. Not taking anything away from Kevin, he has earned his starting role and is pretty good himself. Now, I can only get the stream, so I'm not sure what other position Gatson plays, but I don't hear his name called much on Offense.

Yeah, and Joe Buck loves to twist that knife into Jerry Jones and the Cowboys every chance he gets.

I have my doubts that Dallas will score 34 points. My memory is that the Cowboys offense always starts out slow. The defense is always way ahead of the offense. Having said that, somebody get the crow ready, cause I might just have to eat a little of it. But, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Wow, I must have been out of the loop that year. I don't remember him at all. Obviously, I had moved by then. I just went back and researched and realized that was the year they beat Argyle for the State title. My son and I were at that game in Nacogadoches I believe. I couldn't find the roster for that year though. I hate that.

Oops, I forgot about shorter. I just watched Gatson on film, and he looks like he has really filled out since last year even. By the way; keep an eye on that wash kid. He looks promising to me as a sophomore.
