  1. Long overdue post!!!! Terry, Whitney, Jordan, Jansen and I would like to express our profound gratitude to all of our family, friends, community members and everyone who participated in last night's Fish Fry and Auction. The amount of money raised was mind blowing to say the least. We will always be truly grateful for everyone entrusting us with this amount of money. We do not know what the future holds for Cooper, but we do know it will include medical bills, supplies, equipment and daily care over the next year or so. These funds will allow us to take care of Cooper and focus on his needs as we have been doing everyday since September 9th. Again, thank you to all of the donors, buyers, workers, bakers, cooks, servers, cleaning crew, fish/fries/hushpuppy fryers, auctioneers, and anyone else who played a role in last night’s event. Thank you Micheal Murphy, Steele’s Feed and Seed, The Stovall’s for the fish donation, Troup FBC for hosting the event, Mixon FBC and The Gospel Barn for supplying food and desserts. We are so proud to live in a community who takes care of their people. God Is Good!!! We have been stunned by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support everyone has shown us over the past two months. We would like to say thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers during this time. The phone calls, text messages, FB messages, food, cards, and gift cards have been nonstop, and we appreciated each one. The vigils were amazing, and I know God hears each and everyone one of your prayers. We know Cooper being here with us is already a miracle. As we continue trekking through the hills and valleys of this journey, we know God is writing Cooper's story. We believe through His mighty power He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. We stand firm on God's foundation and will withstand whatever comes our way. We know God loves Cooper and He is restoring him back to us little by little each day. Many of you have expressed your gratitude for Mandi Braswell and her faithful updates on this page. Her servant heart has been our family's biggest blessing during this time. We have no words big enough to describe what she has meant to us. I tear up now thinking about the time and effort she has spent taking care of us. She has been our comforter, encourager, motivator, and our rock. The witness she has been for her own kids has not gone unnoticed either. I know this because they have donated their own money, bought auction items, made cards, and drawn pictures for Cooper letting him know they are praying for him. No doubt there is an extra crown for her in Heaven. I am afraid to make this list because of the fear of leaving someone off, but I am going to do my best. Thank you for all of the fundraising on our behalf. We will forever be eternally grateful. New Summerfield ISD Hilltop Country Club- Golf Tournament Red Dirt Hat Company -Awesome Hats!!!! I leave you with this; I would not wish this on ANYBODY.....it has been a horrible nightmare, but I will say it has brought our already close-knit family even closer together. His brother and sisters have loved on him and have been his biggest fans and advocates during his recovery process. Our family has been instrumental in helping us care for Cooper. Home cooked meals, shopping for our needs, giving us nights away from the rehab center, ect… We know this tragedy has not only affected our lives but the lives of our extended family, Cooper’s friends and everyone else. Everyone asked, “What can we do to help?” The answer is simple, please keep praying for Cooper’s full recovery and wearing your blue for 22 t-shirts. I know this brings awareness to Cooper’s injury and his recovery process allowing more people to pray for him. Cooper is fighting to get his life back everyday. He is having to relearn how to swallow, hold his head up, and how to use every muscle in his body again. We have witnessed and you have witnessed the kindness and love people still have in our country and community. Our kids and youth have been watching, listening and learning this from all of you. I pray this continues and more and more people will come to know Jesus because of it. I know this has to be the purpose of this tragedy. I pray when Cooper looks back at all of this he will see what God was doing, and is doing, through his life. To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen May God bless you all!!!
  2. I think Newton is the only lock,,, no disrespect to anyone else.
  3. Yes,,, I saw you were not quoting me after I posted it.
  4. I could have 3 wrong, but that's what I think will happen
  5. Newton Daingerfield West Rusk Harmony
  6. I'm not sure Waskom has ever owned West Rusk. I think the overall record is 5-5. Waskom however has owned them when it counts in the playoffs. This will probably be a good game for a half, I think WR pulls away in the end. I'm not seeing any dominate teams in this region, except Newton. I'm going with WR but wouldn't be shocked if Waskom wins. I realized my own stupidity in my comment about Waskom owning WR. Oh well it is what it is.
  7. Cooper Update: 11.10.22 Friends, Cooper has had a bit of a set back. Yesterday, a CT revealed that Cooper has a cerebral spinal fluid accumulation on left side of his brain. First, Cooper is not in immediate danger. However, we do need to figure out what is causing this and treat it. Cooper was transferred to Childen's last night at 10pm. He has been admitted to Children's but they are still in the ER due to a bed shortage. Cooper has rested well throughout night, but as you can imagine being in the ER...Susanne and Terry have had no sleep. Cooper has had a MRI, but there are no results as of yet. Please pray! Pray for MRI results. Pray that the neurosurgeon can diagnose and treat what is causing this so that Cooper can get back to TIRR and rehab. Pray that they place the Reid's in a room soon so they can all get some much needed rest. Pray Peace over Cooper, Terry and Susanne. Lord hear our cries... Lord, your Word speaks promises of healing and restoration and I thank you for the miracles you still perform today. Today I claim those promises over my Cooper and his parents. I believe in the healing power of faith and prayer and I ask you to continue your mighty work in the life of Cooper . Please reach down and surround my Cooper, Terry and Susanne with supernatural peace and strength and give her the faith to believe that all things are possible for you. Protect them from Satan's lies and discouragement and let your miraculous healing begin. Amen Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

  10. Praise Report! 11.2.22 Cooper’s tracheostomy was removed today! He tolerated the procedure well we are so grateful that he is free from the breathing tube thank you all! This is a specific prayer answered The Lord is hearing our specific requests Matthew 20:32–34 — KJV 32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. 34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
  11. Cooper Update 11.2.22 We finally got results from Cooper's pathology results and as suspected, they showed early stages of inflammatory bowel disease. They are treating this with medication. We are so thankful to finally have a treatable diagnoses. Today Cooper will have a chest X-Ray. As long as everything is clear, they will remove the trach today or tomorrow! YAY! Praying for clear chest X-Ray! Cooper is still struggling with his sleep patterns. He is not getting enough sleep at night, so he is sleepy during the day. This is frustrating, because we want him to be able to give maximum efforts during therapy. The doctors are adjusting his medication and working on his sleep patterns. Specific Prayer Requests: Clear X-Ray so trach can be removed! Pray for doctors as they adjust Cooper's medication and that they can find the right regimen to help him sleep at night. Maximum efforts & results for Cooper during all therapy sessions. Accurate nutrition formula to help Cooper gain weight and muscle. Wisdom for Coopers medical team Strength, endurance, faith, peace and rest for Cooper, Terry and Susanne. Thank you is not enough to relay how we feel towards you all for your continued prayers. We are eternally grateful. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, Hebrews 12:1
  12. This game has been moved to Thursday!!
  13. Cooper Update: 10.31.22 Cooper had a great day! He did really well in all of his therapy sessions. When we say well.. remember he spent a week in the hospital, not getting his normal therapy... so he is having to make up for loss time! We know that he can and will get back to where he was, and surpass all expectations very soon! He spent time on the tilt table again today. This gets him in a vertical position and engaging his feet and ankles again. His therapist are very please with his progress and said they feel he looks better than he did before he left for the hospital. This was great to hear! Cooper was able to communicate (yes or no questions) during speech therapy that he does remember where he is and that he was not in any pain! We are so thankful he is not having stomach pain right now and that his memory is more in tact. We do have specific prayer requests: Sleep for Cooper. His sleep patterns are all confused! Please pray that he can start getting consistent sleep through the night so that he can give maximum efforts during therapy. The doctors are wanting to adjust Cooper's nutrition so that he can hopefully start gaining weight and muscle. Pray for wisdom for doctors in choosing his nutrition formula, and that it does not cause Cooper and GI flare ups. Tomorrow the doctors will discuss a plan on removing the trach! Please pray that Cooper can have this trach removed as soon as possible. Cooper was able to communicate to us that he is still having double vision. Please pray that the patch therapy we are doing for this resolves this issue. Thank you all for your continued prayers. We realize how faithful you all are being to pray for Cooper and for Cooper's family. Your prayers are working and mean so much to us all. We have to keep remembering that this is a marathon. With your prayers and Gods continued Grace, Cooper will finish the race! "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." ~ Isaiah 40:31
  14. Cooper Update: 10.26.22 Cooper had the camera endoscopy study today. We should get results tomorrow on this test and also the pathology report from Tuesday’s exam. We are hopeful for good reports and that he will be transferred back to TIRR very soon. Our specific prayer requests are: 1. Accurate diagnoses & treatment for Cooper’s GI issues. 2. When it’s safe for Cooper, a easy transfer back to TIRR without any problems. 3. Wisdom for Cooper’s medical team. 4. Rest, Peace, Strength & Faith for Cooper, Terry & Susanne. 5. God to keep working & showing us his miracles It’s been a while since we have done this.. please claim your time! Let us hold each other accountable in faithful prayer for Cooper Psalm 54:2 ESV O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth. 5:00am 5:30am 6:00am 6:30am 7:00am 7:30am 8:00am 8:30am 9:00 am 9:30 am 10:00am 10:30am 11:00am 11:30am 12:00 pm 12:30 pm 1:00 pm 1:30 pm 2:00 pm 2:30 pm 3:00 pm 3:30 pm 4:00 pm 4:30 pm 5:00 pm 5:30 pm 6:00 pm 6:30 pm 7:00 pm 7:30 pm 8:00 pm 8:30 pm 9:00 pm 9:30 pm 10:00pm
  15. 10.22.22 Cooper was moved to Memorial Hermann last night around 10:30. It’s was a long night. New environment, new staff, moving him in the middle of the night and the time it takes to get his medications ordered etc… led to Cooper having a very restless and sleepless night. Please pray that they can get his medications on track, and that he, Terry & Susanne can get some much needed rest. Thank you all so much Matthew 11 28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
