I'm retired. Don't have a dog in the fight. I do however care about kids and coaches because I been there. Maybe figure out how adulting works. Definitely not crying over clueless actions of immature people.

You're only concerned about your agenda, which we all saw, you're trying to advocate for someone to get a job on a chat forum. As if that has anything to do with the actual job selection, but you may not know that's not how it works. You also may not care what it does to those coaches daily lives or the kids they deal with, but hey let's make sure you get your agenda points in....fella

When you make one sport a lot less work than others, that causes kids to specialize as well....

Wonder what this reporter's motivation was for requesting this list and then releasing it to the public. There have been tons of job open this year for AD/Head football jobs. Several in East and Southeast Texas, but yet this reporter only posted the list for the Jasper job. Stinks though for a coach on that list that is only trying to better his situation for his family, but now has to answer questions such as, "hey coach, why you trying to leave us?" But people with their own personal agendas never think about others involved. Just saying.....I've had this happen to me in the past. It's part of the chance you take in applying for the job, but sometimes 16 year old kids don't see it as you're trying to advance, they see it as you're trying to leave them, just like so many other have in their life. Gotta love the media.

Teachers don't have anything to do with it..... don't put teachers in the same boat as politicians.

Not to mention TEA putting more and more on teachers, along with making it harder to get certified. TEA needs to ask themselves a big question, WHY ARE TEACHERS LEAVING THE PROFESSION?

Let's face it....most people in the stands don't know the difference in the plays being run in the spread either.

I would call it back and forth banter. I have no idea as to the identity of the person on the other end of that back and forth and they have no idea who I am. That's kinda what people do on this thing, you know, have conversations. Someone else through out the "guy from New Diana." My initial question asked, which guy from ND he was referring to and the conversation went from there. I don't think we were even talking about EF after the first reply, but I'll pull a Joe Rogen and completely apologize if you were triggered in some way by the conversation that was taking place......

Sometimes things just don't make sense to me and I am the grumpy old guy that just scratches their head..... I mean I know guys that have 5 or 6 career wins and have been hired to be a head coach 3 and 4 times.....

What was ND records the years before he got there? just saying 6-5 in 2019 and 3-7 in 2018 and 10-4 in 2017. Three year span before him was 19-16. Was it a baseball school then? 2020 and 2021 total record 1-19. Coming from a coaching family isn't always an automatic. Nothing against him, I don't know him. But nothing screams i want to hire this guy after going 1-19 because his brother coaches college football. But maybe that's all EF can get paying 80-85K max
