  2. Lol on the Rusk vs Fairfield score prediction. Looking forward to Friday night.
  3. Who you got in this Eagle vs Eagle matchup? Rusk rolling with the younger McCown at QB this year as older brother graduated last year. Fairfield running new offense with new OC that includes a lot more passing than years past, but still have strong ground game with Senior RB Martin.
  4. Fairfield vs. Gatesville at neutral site in Lorena at 6:15.
  5. If Fairfield will implement a passing game it will utilize threats that have not been used the last two years. It will also make Fairfield’s running back that much more dangerous as the offense will not be so one dimensional with glaring tendencies. Excited to see what happens over offseason headed into next year.
  6. I’m going with: 1. Makakoff 2. Groesbeck 3. Fairfield 4. Mexia
  7. Matt was looking of over your mock districts for 3A division 1. What happened to Fairfield? Was that an oversight?
  8. Mexia numbers at 533. You can bet they are hoping for 20 number jump, but I am betting it will 10-15 & they will be smallest 4A II. That is just Mexia’s luck.
  9. Fairfield is definitely not Kemp. But I do agree with you about not being one dimensional. Hopefully our coaches agree with you as well. Who do you all have in the first round?
  10. The change Fairfield made at QB last week definitely paid dividends against Eustace. Defense was not able to only focus on running back #28 which translated to Fairfield’s best offensive game of year (could have easily been 60 or 70-0). With that being said I understand it was Eustace. I agree Fairfield are big underdogs this week against Malakoff, but I do not believe it will be 40-0.
  11. Fairfield vs. Gatesville Thursday at 6:00 at Fairfield.
  12. Definitely looking forward to this rivalry being revived this year. It will be a packed 50% capacity house in Teague under those Friday night lights.
