Gilmer got this. I’m not arguing with anyone just wait til Friday. Gilmer has cleaned up their penalties and playing dang good ball all the way around. I see people think not having #5 is gonna cause us to loose but overlookin the other guys that stepped up and playing shut down ball as well as people saying #12 being out if gonna cause us to loose but overlooking that we have #11 that is a good qb as well and can run the offense and complete the same passing that 12 can. Pg is good true but gilmer is good as well. This game will come down to penalties. Whoever has the least will win and advance. Pg has not been tested since the last time they played gilmer. Gilmer had a battle against wc that only made them better and more confident as well as have play their last 4 games in horrible weather. WE WILL SEE!!

We have plenty guys that can catch the ball. And two qbs that can throw the ball. We had no real need to throw the ball mucj Friday night and the passes that we did throw was about 90% caught.

Gilmer turns the arm of the sophomore loose and kill all the debate and get the win. Gilmer had no reason to do a lot of throwing against wc but the passes that was thrown was spot on and completed on wc best db.

Gilmer keep penalties to a very low minimum they hard to beat.

Well we had a pretty bad record last year and went 3 deep. Lol not saying they will but js

Lol with 40 standing out there on the end not taking anything from the other young men but it makes the other guys job a lot easier. Kinda goes back to the qb debate with gilmer with a more mobile guy back there makes the oline job lil easier and backs. Our biggest problem at that position is you hv more experience with the one that’s not as mobile.

Hawk nation that’s what I meant about my post when saying this game is a different day and different game there’s no telling really in this game tbh pleasant grove is good I like the discipline and that seems to give them the edge looking at both teams previous matches but I don’t agree that pg has more talent than gilmer they may be the same at best, this game in my opinion will be more won on the sideline than anything. Y’all have a good young coach we have a good coach as well I think more the difference in the two are the way the two coaches look at how the game is played you guys coach come in and did what traylor did in gilmer and that’s brought a new style offense that not many schools hv learn to defend yet

All gilmer team won except 8th grade

lol stay calm it’s ok. My point was “that’s why they play the game” I said nothing about a qb. But the point remains scrambling qb or not Friday night is a new night.

side note: gilmer hv not lost a game in which they scored first.

Lol I think it’s funny ho people think gilmer suppose to be scared of pg. ain’t never happen in gilmer football history and not about to start 10/18/19. Paris/gilmer pg/Paris gilmer/Carthage Carthage/pg those games are over. Different games different nights different weather. Come Friday night it’s on between gilmer/pg and it will be a good one. I’m sure both coaches are getting they team ready for battle. Pray every player leave healthy as they came.

We really need both qbs clicking cause let’s not forget 11 is an factor pretty much wherever you put him wether it’s qb,receiver, or db.

Pg is good but gilmer not gonna back down. It’s not gonna be like it was in the playoffs last year #1 and two I don’t see not pg got that Carthage didn’t have. Expect a ballgame. We coming for the win

If gilmer don’t shoot all they goes off with penalties I think it’s gonna be a game everyone is proud of win or loose.

Don’t get it misunderstood, gilmer got a strong motor, just still getting the ole carburetor and ecm tuned in. I hope to get dialed in this week.
