I would like to see us stay on the gas for once tho also. This ain’t preseason anymore.

No we didn’t play a good second half this week for sure but let it be said by me we coming to pg to play. And as I said before the only people that beat us is ourselves. Hope we stop that before the playoffs

I haven’t seen pg play but just watching the red zone scores seem like they a second half team but then so is gilmer I think it’s gonna come down to the -2 seconds

If gilmer don’t be distracted by all that will be going on in town with the yamboree and can play penalty free we got this. I may be along on this but the only team that has beat us this season is us. We just need to pull together and stop the penalties and come together as a team and a unit and do this.

I just know the buckeyes are hungry. Defense seemed a lil tired against Bullard maybe from being on the field so much the past couple games but this first district game is about to be a level up week all around for the buckeyes

If gilmer can start playing without all the penalties they will be very hard to stay in the game with them

Will not be able to run against gilmer. Not saying sh ain’t good but gilmer is ready and getting better.

I think until we get our offense rollin and we get our penalties under control we gonna play close games with whoever we play good or not.

As far as 11 and 12 goes, 11 won’t be qb til he is a senior just like Manuel Johnson.

But at the end of the day we are playing good ball. Everyone has their opinion on what would be and could be better, but over all we don’t look bad. Our offense scores normal football game points. We just got use to the 50+ points per game that’s all.

People like to compare 11 to lynch I’m not sure why. You can’t make that comparison when 11 I hear is only a young 15 year old and I think the roster got him at 5/10 150#. I’ve yet to see him back down to any of the big schools we have played. Lynch was what 200# 6/3 and 18years old?

I think #11 is ready but that’s just what I think. I’m not a coach or the coach just speaking my mind here. #11 will not be the an til he is a senior and #12 is graduated. There’s no competing for that spot. #12 only plays qb #11 has been seen and effective at safety receiver and qb. If there was true competition or chance for 11 to be qb he would got to get plenty pt second half of Atlanta and Paris game. And if we get ahead Friday let’s see what happen second half.

Buckeyes no doubt. Don’t even matter who qb is this week. All running backs will hv big game. Good week for hurt to practice. Won’t be so stressful. He just gotta sit back and start playing the game instead of playing the play so hard. If the designed play is not there he throw it away. If Tennison ever get chance to get in rhythm it’s over but we will loose a good db and receiver.

Tennison kid is tough but they not gonna let him stay in the game long enough to show what he can do. I’m pretty sure he had the majority of the yards tonight

I saw y’all was at the game Friday. What you don’t know there is a lot more to gilmer offense than what you saw #1 and #2 we beat ourselves with penalties and lack of clock control

Bux are very good. Play hard. Still ironing out some young guy mistakes but ain’t no pushover. Ask Carthage

Gilmer for the win this week. These kids got heart. Despite what anyone might think gilmer has a good team across the board. Still getting the carburetor tuned up but the power train is strong. The ecm looses memory at times but they can play through that. #read between the lines. I say it this way cause grown people are quick to be in their feelings.
