  1. I know a bunch of grand saline boys, including their tailbacks, linebackers, and QB and none are standout players.
  2. From what I know the 8's are like outside linebackers that are spilt out more. Last years Canton team ran a 4-4 spilt with 8's. It has a little better contain but they middle isn't as hard to get through unless you have the right people there.
  3. The Canton/Lindale game is about the same as the Van/Lindale game. Van might not blow Canton out like people think they will this year. After Canton watches this film and fixes their problems they could be a district title contending team. Don't forget that Canton has 3 of their best starters on the sidelines so they are a little weak in some areas right now.
  4. I know a 7th grade runningback named Dontae Luke. He goes to school in Mesquite, runs a 4.7 and is very cut and can juke block or run someone over. On 8 carries he ran for 150 yards and a TD his first Junior High game
  5. I believe GJ will break the record and as far as him not being a QB in college, that won't happen. Trust me on that one. Thats one of the reasons he didn't go to Oklahoma because they did say there was a chance that they might have moved him to LB. No matter how far he goes in his career, GJ Kinne is the most exciting football player I've seen and probably the toughest. Maybe not physical but definitly mentally and emotionally. Good Luck GJ!
  6. Tatum made too many mistakes in the game. They had chances to win it but they turned the ball over in the redzone I know at least twice. It was a great game that Gilmer played. Tatum just didn't bring it and Lennon Creer wasn't really that much productive for them. Gilmer defintly proved that they are the best team in east texas.
  7. Who do yall think this award will go out to?? I think its going to be a close one with players like Albert Pujols, Ryan Howard, and Carlos Beltran in the National League and David Ortiz, Manny Rameriz, even A-Rod is still in it if he keeps up this hot streak he's got going on in the American League. Who's it gona be?
  8. The reciever is Micheal Prox. Kevin graduated 2 years ago. It was a great catch.
  9. Sam Buker had a huge game for Canton Saturday and Justin Johnson playe very good thursday night before leaving the game with a head or neck injury. Not real sure which one. TKG couldn't hold Sam. He would outrun everyone to the outside and fly up the sidelines. He really showed that 4.2 speed he has.
  10. It was a great game from Gilmer and after the game lots of the players went over and talked to Josh Nelson. Nel+son. keep fighting. Gilmer played that game and the rest of the games this year for him. I'm glad they did good that game and hope that next week against Tatum can put on a show for everryone. I just think it might be a little closer. LOL!
  11. They did do very good in that scrimmage. Sam Buker was very effective to the outside on screens and pitches. Casey Bell threw some good passes and when no one was open he tucked the ball and ran. He's very fast and will be another weapon Canton will be able to use this year. I expect a good season and a return to the playoffs. Go Eagles!!!!!!!!
  12. I think the topic is "Highest scoring football game" not "best football game". But I mean I COULD be wrong on that one. Well if you know the score of that game then it easily goes with this topic. It was also the best game I've ever seen. I was just adding something I felt like putting on my post. I know what the topic is.
  13. Gilmer vs Canton. That was the best game I've ever seen. It was exciting and intense. Everything a great football game should be.
