just is what it is...really easy to point fingers as an admin about how a coach should be doing his/her job. Not many at that level know the ins and outs to the job and what it takes. It's getting to be a constant rotation of people at LK because the higher ups think they know so much. They don't look at the fact that the talent and enrollment is drying up because of lack of industry nearby. Instead, point the finger at the coaches and tell them they're the reason why people are moving away. Sorry but what a satisfying feeling it must be for a coach to leave there and get support from another school district.

Honestly, It's expected. Current admin is a joke. Supt. & Curriculum director think they know athletics.

Lack of Discipline. That's an issue that comes to mind.

Agreed but I meant along the lines of what schools (programs). Why — admin, community, budget, facilities... That’s a good reason why tho. This thread is to give guys an idea of different programs.

All schools will be affected. You've got schools that have 500 kids competing against schools with 1230 in other sports other than football. What a joke UIL.

Completely ridiculous. If they were deemed eligible before, then this means that either the DEC did not do their due diligence the first time this came up or that MV was hiding something and it did not come up in the first meeting. The fact they had to do a second DEC meeting on this matter shows a lack of professionalism with regards to the DEC by not investigating this matter thoroughly. Also, if they are deemed ineligible now, why should they be allowed to have those wins on their record? Clearly the students have been ineligible from the start. This mistake doesn't constitute the allowing of wins for that district IMO. However, the state may overrule and declare these students eligible and nothing should change with regarding their record but if that ruling is upheld by the state then there should be penalties and wins taken away IMO.
