If Canadian can stay healthy I think we make it a game. We don’t have near the numbers that Gunter does so depth could be an issue, but I think we can play with them. A lot of football between now and then.

Curious how much the break raises between 3A. Could be a lot of changes.

They lost some studs, but brought back some as well (including QB). They can take the top off on offense and run with anyone. their hindrance will be defense. They like to run a version of the old Celina 10-1, with press man on the outside. If they can get QB pressure they can cause chaos. Problem is they are also susceptible to giving up big plays.

If, big if, Bushland’s defense can keep steadily improving, they have a shot in R1. They had Brock on the ropes last year until QB hurt his throwing hand. Not saying they win, but they have a shot.

Personally think they will be better for it. Sometimes teams need to be hit in the mouth for a reality check. Happened with us with Iowa Park last time we won state. Showed coaches we needed more depth, so they moved up some kids from JV. Ran the table the rest of the way

Canadian will need preseason games next year: maybe a home and home or neutral field.

Canadian has a shot. Not saying we will, but I like our chances better than anyone else. It’s funny, I don’t care what wrinkles either team throws out before this game. Once they play each other, the game shrinks and it turns into a chess match. Unfortunately, we have lost 4 of the 6x. Each team has had a blowout win, and all the other games have been very tight, and could have gone either way.

Great show! That was the best offensive effort I’ve seen from Canadian since the 2015/16 team. I don’t think Randall had more than 40 yds of offense until after the 2’s came in.

Rumor is Canadian is getting dropped by 3 teams for non district games. Maybe they could set up a neutral field game……..

GT by 3-4 TD’s

Canadian dismantled 4aD1 Randall last night 69-28. 300 yards of offense in first quarter, 530 yards in first half, with halftime lead of 59-0. 2nd/3rd string in for entire second half. Hoping we can stay healthy and make a run.

Personally think Graham was a better QB, but Overman is a better athlete. But, you have seen them more than I have!
