Canadian. A little north and a little west of East Texas. Had full ride offer from Tulsa, but went to OU as a preferred walk on. Never saw many reps, but is still on staff and helping to call plays now.

Agree with the sentiment about 3A. Canadian vs Gunter (if it happens), could be one for the books. I might get crucified on here for this, but I really think both would be top 5, maybe top 3 in 3AD1 right now.

Agree. I don’t think Bells or Holliday will do much this year. IMHO, it comes down to Comanche and Gunter in R2, and Wall and Canadian in R1.

Man I hope it’s not! We will stay D2 for this, and most likely next realignment, but our elementary and early JH classes are real small. Will go down to 2A and never go back up. IF GT goes up this year, would love to see it continue as non district games. I think coaches, fans, and players from both sides can agree these two teams have made each other better. With the exception of our year where we lost 7 starters to injury, you could book death, taxes, and Canadian/GT every year.

Timpson vs Beckville. I thought without Bussey it would be close, along with a lot of people. Timpson had other ideas. Jim Ned over Hawley as well.

This is tough…..I don’t know if either team will be able to stop the other. Tatum in a track meet.

Watched the second half on Tiger Tube. Daingerfield offense looks good. Defensively, I felt like they struggled. Had a very hard time stopping the I formation. I know it’s the first game of the year, but If DF is going to make a run, they will have to shore up the run defense. It looked (might be wrong) like DF DLINE was bigger than GW Oline, and they were getting whooped. Newton, GT, Canadian, Wall, and Harmony will run the ball down your throat if you let them. Bright side for DF, that offense is going to be real ******* scary come playoff time!

Canadian over EF 45-20 at state in 07. Most people did not give Canadian a chance. Believe it was also our first year running the spread.

2019 Canadian. Stopped on the 2” line as time expired to lose to Gunter in the semi finals. Gunter went on to roll Pewitt at State. could say last years Canadian team as well. Held GT to under 240 yards of offense. Dropped an interception that would have sealed the game on GT game winning drive.

I think Timpson is the favorite, and would love to see Bussey get a ring. That said, all we heard last year was the Timpson faithful talking about how nobody would beat them, or play them close. Even heard some say the same the year before. Timpson is the most talented team in 2AD1, but kids still have to do their job.

Canadian upcoming JR class is large. We will stay 3AD2 for one more cycle, then will go down.

Canadian will do 1 tournament, but never takes it any further, or does any SQT’s.

Randall will be a tough place to win consistently The way the districts were drawn between them, Canyon High, and West Plains.

Tascosa is true bone. Under center. Not sure about Olney.

OC is a flexbone guy. Ran it at Amarillo Tascosa (one of the best you will see), and Olney.
