I may be a little biased, but the close games that Palestine played with CH and Lindale, I feel should have them placed in the top 20 at least..

Im a homer, so im going to defend Palestine. like I told the other guy, I just think Palestine is just on another level than Hendo and Athens when healthy. The Kilgore/CH/Lindale fans can tell you. These last games are gonna come down to matchups and I just think Palestine has too much skill, speed, and strength to lose either one of these games.. Pali lost to CH by 9 without their best player playing. And to Lindale by 8. Hendo/CH - 24-63 Hendo/Lindale 7-56 Athens/Lindale 7 - 40 But don’t get me wrong, I think both games Palestine play against Hendo and Athens are gonna be playoff type games with the players playing at a high intensity! You’re absolutely correct. I don’t wanna look past anyone. Upsets happen all the time. That’s part of why we’re called the “district of doom”. i do also think CH might have been a tad bit overrated coming in. This game of football is ALL about matchups. These last two games for everyone in this district is gonna come down to matchups in my VERY honest opinion. i wouldn’t even be surprised if Athens beat CH in Athens.

No doubt. The Lineman are YOUNG too! Hopefully Pali can take care of business these last two and make a push. Excited to see if we can all play again in rounds 3 and 4. I saw someone on Football Friday say, “CHill better thank the injury gods that #2 didn't play, or CHill might be 4th this year”.

I think we talked on the other app. I remember telling you or someone else from Lindale that Denman was playing. Were you impressed?? Btw you guys have a SOLID offense. Look at the track record. lol Palestine’s boys track team 4x1 ran the fastest time in 4A last year before Gilmer broke it at the state meet. That time would have landed them in second if a Mistake on a handoff didn’t keep them from going to state. And ALL 4 runners are back this year AND all four are starters in football. CH is fast but I don’t see them on the track.

Palestine has more “speed” than CH though. I’ll bet anything Palestine’s Top 3-5 runners are faster than CH’s

Yeah, but if you’re playing in a tough odd numbered district, it helps to get healthy. IMO
