Somebody is a little upset and obviously does not like the dawgs hahahaha kids transfer to powerhouse schools quite a bit (Aledo, Pleasant Grove, Gilmer, Etc. just to name a few). Only reason this is news is because he is a big time recruit. I remember a few years ago, Duncanville had 4 star linebacker (that is now at Alabama) transfer in his senior year and don’t remember a whole lot of noise. Maybe the kids and parents just want to win and be exposed to good coaches.

Have no clue who any of the board members are but very very surprised that any sitting board member would make a comment about this.

How many returning starters do the lobos have coming back?

Just like with any company or large corporation, leadership starts with the CEO and in a school system, that would be the Superintendent. Not even from Henderson but there is a lot of red flags that are facts that any given person could look up.

Plus the Henderson school district did not even get rated for academics correct?? When was the last time that happened?

Not sure about that. I think he’s been the “athletic coordinator” the last 3-4 years which sounds like basically the same role as AD now and I know all Henderson sports have not been great in awhile. Go check out Henderson basketball scores for this year

Henderson is in panic mode. Superintendent, assistant superintendent, and it seems like most of the board members have absolutely no clue what in the hell they are doing as well as most of the other top admin. Big ship show in Henderson and the laughing stock of Texas High school football right now in my opinion. Have always thought Henderson had some of the best athletes in east Texas. Always used to give Gilmer good games

Didn’t both kids get all district and have been starters for two years? Oh and two state rings? Don’t know the kids or their families personally but I would think they are pretty happy with the way things turned out. Hell, makes them look pretty smart with how things are going in Henderson

Agree 100%. Would love to know what the coaches around East Texas think of Castles. He applied for two jobs and did not even come close to getting them.
