  1. Maybe so. But they didn't really do Dracos right over there either. Dragging their feet on a lot of stuff for him, especially when he is/was "their guy"
  2. It will be a nice and easy start dropping down from 3A.
  3. I doubt people are lined up at the door...
  4. Well it happened. Wether his hands were tied or not, I don't see what it matters. It happened In the first round of the football playoffs this year and it happened during basketball so much that they didn't even have enough to play some nights. That embarrassing for the entire place. But it was allowed and who knows if it was ever addressed.
  5. Agreed and very possibly could be the case.
  6. Which is exactly why places like this are being talked about... Hughes Springs, Linden Kildare, Clarksville, New Boston...all of these places seem to have let the culture of things right out the door and now here we are. And A LOT of it has to do with what has been allowed, not only by the school/coaches but by the parents..it's crazy what parents think is ok now days and what is appalling and forbidden. There is no such thing anymore as hard nosed coaching.
  7. And the Jimmy's and Joe's that they do have decide to quit and walk off the field when things get tough. It's a culture thing too. It's been allowed. During the football playoffs when they were getting railed the "stud" athlete they had walked off and left. Came back in street clothes i think i heard. Did the same thing in basketball, just quit. Might be a Jimmy on the field but if something gets bad he turns into a Kimmy and leaves his teammates. But like i said that makes my point, its been allowed by the AD and most importantly the parents. LK is rough all the way around.
  8. Like you said "coached" not currently coaching. And no, not from Diana. Trust me, it's not the same group of kids and parents if there were good ones before lol.
  9. OC athletic kids/parents/staff/community (maybe not all of them) will leave a bad taste in your mouth for sure. There is a significant attitude problem in that place.
  10. i legit think he doesn't know what he is doing when it comes to overall athletic program stability and creating a culture. It's the same both places he's been in charge. There's a reason things fall apart wherever he is, including the staff.
  11. It's definitely more than uniform colors that is putting that guy out of a job.
  12. Maybe he followed a former HS coach over there. I know there is one coaching baseball there.
  13. I'm thinking I hear the communication was so bad that the new AD and the old AD both showed up to the schedule meeting Monday or Tuesday whenever it was lol.
  14. Not much communication in that place.
  15. It is 100% true. A job CAN be posted when a coach says it can be posted. Just because there hasn't been an official announcement doesn't mean that someone hasn't said "hey im leaving after this year is over". It happens all the time.
