  1. The Punt return should have been negated by a block in the back at the 10. Blatantly obvious
  2. Ill tell you this much, Graham had more than a little shot to make this game very hairy for Gilmer even getting behind 35-7 at the half. Wasted trips inside the 25 yd line in the first and second halfs killed Graham. They racked up the yards but They should've thrown it more in the 1st half. Gilmer was struggling to cover. Graham back was tough. Gilmers 2nd half effort was bad period no sugar coating that.
  3. I can tell you what happened. The game vrs PG took it out of them. It was a game for the ages for that team. Nothing wrong with that but it definitely played a factor playing that type of game before Gilmer, most definitely Physically
  4. This is a completely irresponsible take on things, Football itself is a taxing sport. To imply a coach in this case is responsible for injury its pure rubbish
  5. I attended the Caddo Mills vrs PG game as I live in Rockwall. First of all HUGE Crowd....what Social Distancing 2nd of All The biggest moment in that game and one of the most bizarre I've ever seen, was when PG forced a 3 and out to start the 3rd. You could feel PG getting ready to blow the game open to 31-14 but as fate had it the Caddo Mills Punter ,into the wind, kicked a line drive into the back leg of the PG defender 8 yards down field. Caddo Recovered it and then went on to score in a 19 play 7 minute drive. It was crazy and definitely had the PG team winded on defense. The PG Defense stayed on the field virtually the entire 2nd half. Sounds a lot like How Gilmer beat PG . There were A lot of questionable calls in the Caddo Mills / PG game both ways but in the end it was just a gutsy play by the Caddo QB running for the TD in the end. Up until the last drive the PG defense really had held him in check running. I almost thought a Hold was going to be called in the middle of the field on his run. It was very very close but the back judge held his flag and maybe it was because they missed a couple during the game. In the end Caddo got the W over a Defending Champion. Now I know it wasn't the same without PGs two defensive stars but nonetheless Caddo Mills did it and deserves credit. I will take Gilmer in this Regional Final 42-28 Quote
  6. This post is not accurate. Landon Jacksons injury was a freak injury at practice catching footballs before Practice and Marcus Burris injury was at conditioning running last summer. Neither were injured in games. Just freak injuries part of it
  7. They were very good. IN the end I believe the QB position was the biggest deficiency and it showed up in Big Games
  8. They will definitely be ranked in the Top 10! probably 5th or 6. The only losses are to the two likely State Champions in Argyle and Carthage and in the last seconds to two top 5 teams Gilmer and Caddo Mills. Considering all the adversity they faced this season Id say that is a heck of a record and yes they are still a very good football team

  10. Turnovers I think was what he was saying. I believe PG had 3 Killer turnovers in the 3rd Quarter that helped Carthage pull away. The Point is Carthage doesn't need any help. You cannot make things easier for them or they will make you pay with huge Interest.
  11. PG has 4 D1 Commits I believe or at least 4 with D1 Offers. Marcus Burris and Landon Jackson are both out at D End. Nick Martin (LB/RB) and Torrey Phillips (DT and OL) are Playing
  12. Yep its insane and the Media is just adding fuel to the fire with sensationalism. Also funny how everything is Corona huh?
