Young Surratt back in the game now

It's weird, I will admit. It's been that way for a very long time. The crowd doesn't often get just crazy energized and into the game no matter what game of the year it is, if we are down, if we are up, if its close or far. lol

To be fair, if I recall it was an absolute Monsoon that evening. I, for one, was miserable in the stands. lol

Whew. Rocquemore dropped a perfect pass from Cuff that would have put Carthage within the 10 yard line

From the numbers it sounds like he was a really good QB this year too, Carthage defense is just a beast to contend with. I think GR QB and O-line was better. Plus GR Qb was a senior and im sure that extra maturity and experience helped.

Wimbo was finally threatening to score and got picked off in the end zone.

These huge Sophmore DTs.... they have been dominant all year.

So many sophomores and Juniors starting on this team. They will lose a few key contributors like Cuff, Paddie and Hatten on offense and Harper, Cabada, Bell and a few others on defense... but.. So many Juniors, sophomores and Freshmen that have gotten playing time and contributed to this run as well. All of the RBs return. Young Surratt will step in at QB... There is a chance this is the start of another run, but all it takes is one game each year to end that. Can't count em before they hatch for sure

Carthage turned the ball over 4 times. GR turned it over twice. Carthage had a long TD called back. But GR was good and played like a team that wanted it. So I think a bit of both.
