imo they are somewhat ahead of schedule when you look at how young Texas High is…the few players on the team that played on the 21’ team that was in the 4th round have done a good job with the younger guys on the team throughout the year..
if they stay healthy the next couple of years could be fun to watch

The freshman at left tackle and sophomore at left guard hopefully gained some more confidence lining up vs the D Line from Summit…the offense has been successful running behind them throughout the year but that was hard to do Friday. It’ll be tough again this week but if the two RB’s can get going I think they’ll have a chance to score some points.

Summit front 7 was as advertised, great season for them. T High defense gave up 2 early scores in the 1st half and played great the rest of the game.

I think Texas High can win but they will have to show up all 4 quarters. Terrell scored 22 of the 28 points in the 3rd quarter. Texas High looked flat coming out after half….#0 at defensive end and #13 at receiver are 2 of the better players on the team imo and both have been out since the Whitehouse gm…both sides of the ball improve if they can get back on the field .

Hall #13 at WR has led the team in TD’s… being out tonight and last week has hurt. Hopefully he gets on the field soon.

Competitive game first half. TH is a solid team with great speed in running game and secondary. WH doesn't stick with their best running back #8 in their game planning. The starting QB ,Green for WH was hurt last two games and did not play and it showed in the game . He was finally replaced in 3rd qtr. TH should go 3-4 rounds on playoffs. WH maybe to round two if they don't play Melissa or Lovejoy in first. Really impressed with TH.
T High played a pretty clean game for the most part last night. I still think they have to take it one game at time going forward….the 3 sophomores in the secondary have gotten better each week but a team that throws the ball a lot could still hurt them if they aren’t ready to play. #5 for Whitehouse was a good player, he was able to get open on a few plays and kept them in the game in the first half.

Good game for Texas High headed towards the playoffs..45-21 . Starting D gave up 14 in the first half…played great in the 2nd half without the starting D End #0 out after getting banged up in the 2nd quarter…RB #4 was missed these passed couple of weeks, finished with 2 TD’s and 110 yards on the ground.

When Texas High lost to the back 2 back state champ Highland Park by a TD in the playoffs year 1 with the new staff I think it had a lot of people thinking they would come out the following season and be successful in year 2 …they did move up a classification to 5aD1 but the way the lost some of those games was tough ( lost 3 district games by 17 points) The talent was there, D1 player at QB and RB…Staff had a plan on what they wanted to do, scheme on both sides of the ball and discipline being 2 of the things that stand out. Marshall has the support and the coach has had success everywhere he’s been. I hope they can get to where they wanna be.

Hall #13 at wr didn’t play last week vs Marshall but showed up tonight, 5 catches for 120 yards and 2 TDs. Gray played a full game and had 115 yards and 1 TD receiving. Johnson at RB missed this week and last week, hopefully he gets back soon and they continue to gain momentum headed towards the playoffs.

I know it is wrong to be critical of a 30-7 win on the road against a district rival, but nothing about the Tigers' performance against Marshall was smooth.
Offense seemed to be rolling and then the QB got hurt and missed those 2 games and it slowed them down..they did come out and play well vs MP but I think the bye week kept them from holding on to some of that momentum. I agree on the Marshall game, it was sloppy. The 3 players that missed the game this last Friday hurt the offense. Gray at WR played the 2nd half and helped open things up. He finished with 2 receptions for 90 yards and a TD…imo if they can get everybody on the field these last 3 weeks in district could be what they need to get things going .

defense has not played terrible, but TH has missed some wide open receivers and have had a few wrong assignment runs by their RB that has disguised how effective the defense really was.
I honestly thought this would not be a good nite for Marshall, but As I posted above, TH is not going far in the playoffs if they play like this.
very surprised at the lack of physicality by TH. Going back to my days playing them in the mid 80’s in old District 13-AAAAA you could always count on a physical hard fought game with them.
not saying Marshall has out physicalled them tonight, just it hasnt been a physical game.
Marshall season somewhat on the line and playing at home. Marshall defense didn’t play bad but the offense struggled. In your. opinion what positions did T High looked out sized ?

for Texas High Johnston #4 at RB didn’t play he has over 800 yards rushing. #1 Gray only played the 2nd half , he did end up with 70 yards receiving and a TD. Not sure about #13 Hall at wr either but he didn’t play they’ll need him going forward, offense looked off most of the night. Outside of maybe 3/4 plays defense played good.

good win for the JV for Texas High. 12-13 sophomores on Varsity roster and still playing well. The center in the 2026 class could be another player to watch going forward on the offensive line.

Getting inside the 25 in the first half twice and coming away empty hurt T High…. had some chances but LV showed up when it mattered. Looking forward to next year.
