This should be a very good game. Both teams have improved since the first meeting this year. Few teams can match the speed of Malakoff and the QB has really come on. GV has been penality prone and their kicking game is suspect. That said, I like the multiple offensive sets and the defense is aggressive. Hopefully one of the teams can reach the title game.

Confirm this if true from Cleburne paper… GV and Malakoff have met seven times since 2018 and GV is 7-1. Doesn’t sound right.

Well. it sounds like you boys have got this kid DJ Allen to turn loose on us at Wildcat QB. He seems to be another Jonathan Brooks out of Hallettsville who can take over games. I wish I could be positive about this game but you guys are capable of winning it all and that's that. I hope it is a competitive game and goes to OT. BTW, I have a friend who played receiver for Lamar back in the day and tells me about Gladewater Blumblebees vs Cheatem High Tigers and how they used to go to the games. I can't find anything on this do you know anything about it ?

Grandview had 4 starters out in the West game, three on defense. The outcome would have been different if this weren’t the case. Glen Rose is ranked #11 in 4A Division 2 and we were whipped. I believe Gladewater was beat soundly by 4a Kilgore and Gilmer so there’s that. GV also lost All County 1500 yd running back early in the season and now the next in line running back is out with an ankle injury. That said, this is not the 2018/19 state championship teams and I am not sure we have the horses to compete with Gladewater.

Waxahachie Life a 4a 2-7 team last year, but supposedly better ? this year. Who knows? It's hard to say Tiger, but RB is fast and I've seen him go off on those 4a teams last year like Salado which did pretty well. I don't know if he is comparable to your Deuce. QB 's dual threat tall and pretty fast. I think last years team was the best we ever had and you know how that went. Coaches comparing this team to last year. I can't hardly believe that, but My opinion we might get into early rounds playoffs. I listen to you guys announcers ever game I can, just love'em. I see your last years QB down at Lamar where our QB went and a lineman and WR. That should be interesting.

GV has solid team with eleven returning and some good move-ins, one of which may take the QB spot over projected starter. Offense has 1500 yd rusher and speed at WR. Defense has stood out in scrimmages. Coaches are high on this team, but I guess we will see. Dave Campbell picks GV by 4. Malakoff is tough at home (and anywhere else). GV has a murders row with Malakoff and three 4A schools, Salado, Godley and Glen Rose, the latter three out for blood as we beat them all last year. GV by 7.
