LSU is a mystery to me, he knows a lot of the inside Waskom Football but I have yet to put a real name to him, who he is in other words, I have my suspicions though. I know most of the guys on here and they are good fellows, they just love to banter and there is a lot that love to egg them on also. I set back and enjoy the smack, there was a time a while back that I posted Waskom threads knowing we was going to lose, posting things like we have a chance, we have a lot coming back next year, which at the time meant we have a lot of not very talented kids coming back, but you don't say that but you think it. I love the run Waskom is having right now but I realize it will one day end and I will be back to saying we had a chance. You Always Have A Chance, look at poor Childress right now.

Great input. Just a couple of bad apples that love to dish it but can’t take it. Tons of respect for Waskom. Tons of respect for posters like you. Posters like that though, not so much. I have to walk that aisle and figure 4 them. 🤣

  2. @Tiger1995 JJ. Not a knock on Arp. Happy to see them back in the playoffs. Hope things are turning around. Get out of Yankee country and help them out. This will be a fantastic game. Honestly don’t have a clue who will win. Great matchup. DeKalb fields a good group of hard nosed country boys. I’d just like to see them get a playoff win. Saying that, it’d do me some good to see Arp get them a well deserved playoff win. Both could gain lots of momentum with a win tonight for their respective programs in the future.

LSU is like the old wise man that sits back listens for awhile and waits to speak after all of the nonsense settles down.

@LSUTIGERS @Wild74 @WildcatScream and others have not been the target of my bombardment. These guys are class acts. They can engage in a good back and forth smack game. They are grown men. Not by age either. Mentally grown. They realize this is a football forum, and for the most part, older men having a good time bs’ing. When the week is over everybody is an American. No hard feelings. Nothing. I guarantee you none of them troll on threads then get mad if someone comes on their thread to do the same. I also can guarantee you none of these guys have threatened violence because of a football forum. Some of their fellow Cats could learn from them. Especially LSU. He is very skilled in smacking. He gets his point across with some good quick witted humor. Great comebacks. His comebacks don’t consist of “go back to your moms basement”. For 2 reasons. 1 is that he knows that’s weak. 2 he knows that areas water table is too high to have a basement.

Great write up about Coach Evans. Had to go look up his backstory. I was curious if he was still coaching. Horrible losing a child. Every parents worst nightmare. There was a quote that read something to tune of he didn’t have any gas in the tank after that tragedy. He loves Tatum. Stepped down because he knew he couldn’t give it his all. I think any parent can relate. Eagle to his core. Looking out for the program as always. I hope he is in a good place mentally.

Quinlan Beats Godley 49-23. Godley scored on opening drive of 3rd to make it 28-23 before Quinlan scored 21 straight to seal of the Win. Quinlan was up 20-3 before Godley scored Tds after a Fumble recovery at Quinlan's 34 and an INT Returned to Quinlan 25 on back-back drives to make it 20-17. Quinlan lost a fumble at their own 34 again on first drive in 3rd. Quinlan's D then forced a turnover on downs at own 3, before scoring on a 97 yard drive. Quinlan had Td runs of 48, 65, 46, 36, 15, 54, & 3 yards. Quinlan also had around 10 false start penalties on their pulling guards.

Pirates will eat their lunch. Slot T is tricky. Thing is Pitts very good defense sees that boring offense everyday in practice. Some play in it. If they can hang with PG and Gilmer, they gonna beat Ford like they stole something.

Pewitt got this. Troup not gonna be ready for that ground and pound. Pewitt just needs to make sure they score after their long drives.

Keeping the ball 8 minutes is fine. You better put some points on the board though. They better get to Troup’s QB and lay some wood. #11 can’t cover from sideline to sideline. He’s great but no kid is that great.

Thanks for the vote ofconfidence. We will find out tonight. We have a few “Key” players back for tonight so who knows. When we played Childress we were on our 5th string running back. The QB keeper was available on the bootleg all night, but Canadian is about the bigger picture, not just one game. Hopefully patience and taking lumps will pay off this year.

They’re going to pay huge dividends in the end.

I’ve said all year Childress has lived and died by the big pass to Nickelberry, and it would eventually backfire. In all honesty, they were a blown call (admitted by UIL) to losing to Friona. We were missing 5 starters on each side of the ball when Canadian and Childress played.

We are starting to get some kids back, so hopefully we can make a run.

Y’all will rep region 1. That’s a fact. You’re gonna be modest and say “one game at a time”. I respect that. Beats some of these yahoo’s over in the piney wood region. I get your young. Those youngin’s have been brought up in that system. They got it.  I guarantee you they might be young, but they are not immature. You can have age/experience and be as immature as a 3rd grader. I’d take the former any day. Good luck to the panhandle. By gawd I love that area. My maternal grandfather lived in White Deer.

  9. Well it was worth the wait. I was pleased with everything except for one. Where the hell is Monica and Tate after the time lapse. I was expecting Tate to be there welcoming his Grandpa home. Airport is gonna be a no go. That valley will turn out to be a massive burial ground.
