The question in this post is “what happened to LK?!?!” . Man back in the late 90’s those Tigers were hell in the old 3A. Had good battles with Daingerfield, Jefferson, and Atlanta. I know these rural towns are drying up but LK did it at a blazing speed.

Nobody, on the snowflake side, ever thinks about the kids on the winning team that are not the studs. They practice just as much as the staters. Show up to summer workouts. Spend same amount of time in the weight room. When a coach is able to send those kids in he can’t tell them not to score or don’t rush the QB all out. He can’t tell that RB to fall down before he breaks the plane. If you get a hundred dropped on you, starters dropping 50 and backups dropping the other 50, then that’s on you. Those backups deserve to get in there and play hard.

In Uncle Joe’s defense, Secretary Bootyplug did say these higher prices are the result of a booming economy. I mean really, if you can’t believe a guy that takes off work during a crisis to breast feed, who can you believe?

Pitt is officially the dark horse in this region. You are right. Van is good every year. Pitts HC won an outright district championship last year at San Quentin High. Sorry. I meant Mexia High verses those Vandals. Rough game this year against Van but that’s been forever ago. Kids did not have a grip on his system yet. This is year is just gravy for Pitt fans. Public may not recognize it but the football world does. Ask the Pitt HC how hard it’s been to feel out his pre district schedule. It shouldn’t be that tough for a program that was 1-9 and 3-7 the previous two seasons.

It’s a piece of high school football history. Don’t change a thing. I’ve always wanted to go to Mason and watch a game at the Puncher Dome. Just to get the experience.

Hooks will be fine. Their sophomore RB is a bona fide monster. I’m hoping they can get through next season without so many injuries. I’ve literally never seen anything like it. It’s just not every now and again. It’s every year.

It would be nice to see the Gilmer/Pitt rivalry heat back up. Bucs have had two decades of dominance. Got you a good coach and built it up. More impressive is they’ve kept it up since his departure. I think Pitt has someone in place, if he stays long enough, to do the same thing. At least we hope anyway.

On paper most will look at a 7 loss team and dismiss them. no such thing as moral victories but in reality this former 1-9 team was 20 points shy of an outright district title in a tough district. I believe these numbers to be false. They are actually much higher. Broiler houses, for instance, cost a fortune to operate compared to a year ago. I’d cut a body part off it were only 6%. Scary thing is that it is just starting.
