This goes back to the point I tried to make on another post about having great job opportunity within your city and also affordable housing. Honestly people move to Longview or Carthage.

wth... the admin makes it sound like athletics isn't a priority. How can you go a whole spring and NOT try to hire someone.

If you haven't learned anything yet.... get a plant or factory in your city with a lot of affordable housing and you may have the recipe...cities have done it for years. The towns that suffer are the ones who don't want the housing or factories.

This is very shocking. Like why? Oklahoma isn't comparable in Texas in football at all. And nonetheless, he didn't win much. I guarantee Legacy won't have this subpar or resume of a coach. Set up...

Wow...11-32 in the past seasons...in Oklahoma... not really impressive to me at all. I would say that's a hell of a promotion and was a definite long shot.

There are roughly 10 high schools along with private in the area that kids have an opportunity to go to. It's talent all around but they're not mostly concentrated in one area. I heard the rezoning of the schools was a big problem the past couple years too. Tyler has just as much talent as Longview. Here's my thought. 1. Tyler has way more private schools that Longview. 2. Tyler also has more white flight schools than the Longview area. 3. Talent is separated by an estimated of 4 to 5 school districts besides Tyler ISD. Longview has only Pine Tree. 4. Spring Hill and Hallsville is a locked school district. Meaning they only allow kids in their zoning district or you have to have special qualifications to join. (not 100% sure, correct if I'm wrong). It pushes more kids to Longview or Pine Tree. PT is of course the "little brother" to Longview in sports.

Yeah I would think the same thing. Especially with Lee having two RB's in the past three years that went to big time programs in college. The talent pool in Tyler is comparable to Longview. I figure the administration might be hard to work for also. Just a guess

It was already out from what I heard. 2 ppl from Tyler told me about it long ago. From 2 different sources. But I do understand that.
