I assume the job will be filled by the end of Christmas. No need of dragging feet when you basically knew he wasn't coming back after the first round of playoffs. That's about 6 weeks of interviews. This isn't a presidential campaign lol

From the looks of it, he has the best athlete in the backfield and run speed option left and right with zone read. So it's not like he's putting it in the air 30 times a game. And yeah I don't think anyone believes coaches anymore after the Nick Saban trick years ago when he left Miami. If most are saying it from different sources then it's possibly true. And looking at the pay scale, CH not too far off from Tyler ISD. I'm sure it's an increase but idk if I would risk it for a chance at losing a state talented team.

Yeah idk why he would even leave. Heard this group is still young and talented. That would've been a stupid move on him if so.

Did CH stay overnight? It would've been pretty cool to treat it like a college atmosphere.

Arkansas isn't near as competitive than Louisiana and dang sure Texas. Idk about the guy from Bryant. It would be an increase in pay but I don't see JT going to get a guy from Arkansas to come to Texas. My bet is still on someone from the city. Does anyone know how long they plan on being open? Maybe fill by January?

Won't say the school but I heard two rumors (from different sources) of a big school in ETX possibly coming open. Won't say who it is yet but it will be real interesting if it's true. Hint: they were a playoff team but lost in the first round..

Hopefully Koff will win and maybe they can build some new things around there. I went back in the spring and I wasn't impressed with the facilities. But then again it may make them soft so I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I don't think JT would look to a small school guy. Tyler period. Small school wouldn't relate to any school in Tyler for that matter. Too political I think. But I could see a city coach coming in with a decent resume. I think JT is going to go away from the hometown guy (someone local) after Holmes and branch out to the city. It's just a matter of who it is.

Haven't watch Poth before but I assume we're being East Texas hopefuls and wish Harmony will pull it out. Never have I ever watched a team change offense and make it to state. Sounds like a good ol Friday Night Lights saga. I'm rolling with Harmony. Bandwagon...oh well. It's ETX all the way.

Think I'll go with Beltline Road on this one and say SOC will win. I have a strong feeling it will be a shootout but I think this game is where momentum and the crowd will be very beneficial and helpful. SOC by 10

He started it lol (kiddy voice) anyways Lobos by 4hunnit. Tatum is too powerful in that backfield. Just control the clock and use that John King recipe and the Lobos will be fine. I got my ticket and will be pumped to watch the Lobos make history once again.
