I have loved watching #2 J’Koby Williams play for Beckville. I am glad he wore blue. With that being said I’m not a fan of our coach and feel we got out coached AGAIN in a big game. We have watched Cody Ross run #2 ragged for multiple seasons. We need a change. We had multiple all state linemen and the best athlete to ever come through beckville plus several other “dudes” and Ross can’t win with them? Man he needs to go. Just my opinion. Great game Garrison.

Why pass when we can just run 2 to death??? Ugh

Can ya blame us? I’m pulling for the bearcats! We’ve made some changes on both sides of the ball. I do think it’s going to be tough for us to stop Garrison but I also believe that we will be tough to stop. We aren’t so one dimensional on offense anymore. If we stack the box we have the athletes to stop the run. Limit turnovers. Cats in a close one.

Hoping for a clean game tonight then. I expect the score to be similar to last year!

32 and 3 alternate time on field instead of having both on field at same time. They both are amazing athletes and in 2A football should be playing both sides of the ball. 2 who is probably the best option we have for safety is on sideline on defense after first defensive drive. And when he is in on defense he is blitzing qb every play. Ineffective use of the best player in my opinion. They just run the other way. Look at the huge linemen we also have standing and watching on defense while teams run right at our nose guard and threw gaps.

Agree 100%. Wasting him trying to blitz QB every time. And teams just run away from him.

It took him 4 years to put Williams as QB and only because he knew his head was on the chopping block! He definitely ain’t listening to advice from anyone or that would have happened for sure after the embarrassing performance against Timpson and Joaquin last season. Touchstone is DC and will sink the ship this season by leaving kids in position they are not excelling in! Our pass coverage and stopping the run up the middle need major work. Easy to overlook when we are dominating games in first quarter but the weaknesses are still there and shown if you watch closely.

Guess you’re not watching our defense then. Poor defensive schemes and kids in wrong positions or on sideline and not even on field on defense when should be in the game. Gonna cost us in the playoffs no matter how electrifying our offense is.
