Will they give the Freshman 3A player of the year. It will be hard to top his numbers.

No player or parent wants anything that they had in the past.

All I gotta say, is they better make the right higher. Because, if not Westwood will benefit from it. A lot of kids that live in Westwood district already talking about transferring. Westwood just needs a few to make a deep run in football and basketball.

My predictions. 1, Westwood 2, Teauge 3, Diboll 4, Fairfield 5, Crockett 6, Huntington

Westwood brings back a really good core on both sides of the ball. They will build off of last year's squad, and I believe this year will be better. They bring back all of their top playmakers. The QB will be in year two and after a year of full offseason as the starter. Looking for big things to happen with him and Kason. Plus, whoever they replace angel with across the pond. As in Palestine. A few boys maybe transferring.

Good thing they are big school, and don’t have to worry about baseball coaches. Because that’s the only downfall for the new AD he will not be able to touch the baseball coach.

Westwood gets their first district win over #11 Mexia 79-72. They move to 7-3 on the season. The Freshman Bryant finished with 35 points being face, guarded the whole game. Great job boys! Getting better one game at a time.

#87 was covered up and they had 8 men on the line scrimmage on this play that lead to the tight end touch down.

I don’t know if we were not prepared to play in a steady mist. Westwood can’t hold onto the ball at all. Qb has trouble throwing it also and with the snaps. Almost every play. No sticky stuff or gloves?

Westwood brings in the back up DLine and they go to work. First stop for Westwood.

Actually hundreds of Westwood students have transferred to Palestine in the lower grades. Definitely all the baseball players, and from other schools from around the area. their baseball facilities are now unbelievable and they have the hittrax and rapsodo in the baseball facility. But that’s not the reason AD transferred to Palestine. Everyone one in Palestine knows that story.

Then again he’s in the perfect place. He has free reign over the place. Plus his son’s play for the best AAU teams in the Country. So really don’t need to go to a bigger school. Literally the aau team flies to Palestine to pick him up. He’s that good. His two brothers are that good. What’s crazy Palestine and Westwood had an interview on the same day for him and Westwood won out and Palestine did not hire him.

I’m a Westwood supporter and I believe this will be a good test for the young kids to learn and grow. #10 and #4 are some stud freshman for Westwood. I’ll say it again #8 is the best athlete on the team. He didn’t play 3 Qt in the Diboll game and they held him out a lot down the stretch. To keep him healthy. Lorena is a two touchdown favorite definitely. But we have a lot of young freshman and sophomore’s playing and if they hang in there they may make it interesting. It will be hard to keep Bryant and his brothers. Look what Bryant did for their confidence in 8th and now as a freshman. He completely turned around a losing team in 7th grade and made them undefeated champions last year and now look what he did for the varsity. Same with his lil brother. 7th grade went undefeated with him at Qb. But any school will be crazy not to offer this coach/Dad the bank. Kavion will lead them to a district basketball championship this year. I believe they will make it to the regional tournament and when 7th Grade brother gets there they will win state in Basketball. Maybe in football also. This is from scout on basketball. He will be the best guard in 3A this coming year.

Sophomore Kayson Dial will be the most talented athlete on the field.

Westwood will come into this as the underdog. But I believe they will hang in there shock a lot of people.

34-23 Woodville just scored on a long drive eating up most of the 4th. Westwood just not playing discipline football at all. Penalty and blown coverages all over the place.
