What a great novel.

Good post but you’re wasting your time with some of these folks. To them Whitehouse IS the only school where trash talk and rowdy student sections exist. Go to a Tyler Legacy volleyball game to see the trash talking with the students. Go to a Tyler high basketball game. Heck go to any high school baseball or softball game in any town in Texas. The rowdy fans and students sections are everywhere. But they’re also at Duke, Texas, A&M, Lake Travis, Allen, Southlake, South Oak Cliff, and anywhere America. Except Smoaky.com, only Whitehouse fans and kids act horrible.

See this is what some of us are talking about. You do an outstanding job of researching and posting some really good stuff on the district. But yet when it comes to one school you don’t like, you give zero information just to be a jerk. You’ve done this all year. Why can’t you just post information for everyone?

I hear things about Nacogdoches, about Marshall, about Lindale, about Longview, about every little school in all the small-town communities. It’s not just Whitehouse, you all just choose to hammer them for some reason. So they have a rowdy student section, so does 10 out of 11 schools. Either way, good luck to every team in the 8-5a district, some tough draws first round.

Not gonna happen for many many years if that. Ever since we moved to the area everyone has been saying Bullard is going 5a, Whitehouse 6a, and on and on. The numbers are still well off for both. The private schools and growth all over Smith county will keep that from happening. Sorry to crush your dreams Lobos, you’ll just have to settle on all the other sports.

What time is your playoff game this week, we will make sure to tune in. Oh wait, you’re dribbling the basketball.

Tyler just isn’t any good, neither school. Private schools, families moving to Lindale, Whitehouse, Chapel Hill, Bullard so they can get out of TISD. Just don’t think the two schools will ever match the talent of big 5 and 6a’s in the metroplex.

Marshall can’t keep up if they get further behind.

Oh wait mavman has to say Whitehouse is good. Say it ain’t so.

The best offense in the district is Whitehouse, way too many weapons. That’s not a homer call, that’s facts and stats. You’ll have to get in a track meet with them and hope you don’t turn it over, otherwise they’ll score every possession. Or play keep away. So if they win out, they’ll host. Hallsville has the best player in the district. He’s very special. Again, their only hope is to score every possession, they have zero ability to stop anyone. I’ve seen them twice and their qb is the best player on the field, he just needs help.

Hallsville’s defense is awwwwwwwful. Whitehouse is fixing to score 60.

Everyone says you’ll never beat Lovejoy if you finish 4th. But everyone I’ve talked to said this district matches up well with everyone else including Melissa. Would be nice to see 8-5a win in the postseason as a whole.

There’s no way in the world Hallsville wins this comfortably. They may win because they have the ball last, that’s more realistic. But WH scores really fast, and Hallsville plays no defense. Nacwagon said it best, can WH stop the run, and can Hallsville get enough stops against WH and their hurry-up offense. The two most electric players have to be in this game: The McCoy kid from WH, he’s a D1 commit, and the QB from Hallsville. May be a 45-44 type game.

Nac fan, explain how Nacogdoches looks like one team against Whitehouse, and looks terrible against everyone else.

Yeah they’re over here in the “wasteland” scoring a hundred on PT, they’re doing fine.

Whitehouse up 41-21 after three. By the way, Henderson has 5 personal fouls, including punching a kid, Whitehouse has zero. Henderson is a complete disaster.

At this point, Whitehouse is fixing to score 100 on Henderson.

At some point could you just talk about sports and stop whining about fans and admin? No one cares. Maybe all that stuff happened in the past, but geez let it go. The kids are what I’m talking about. So judging off stats if your beloved Mavericks don’t learn how to play defense, then they won’t stop Whitehouse either. Schedule is what it is, you beat whoever is in front of your. Pretty good chance they’ll be 4-0 going to Nac first game, which could determine that 3rd or 4th spot. Then I guess we won’t report the details of that game either, just the score. Unless Nac wins, then you get a full page report of how wonderful they are at 1-4.

Judging off stats, Hallsville plays zero defense. So they’ll never stop Whitehouse. 2-0 Whitehouse beat the brakes off Jville and once again put up almost 500 yards of offense. You failed to mention that once again this week. Maybe you should start giving those boys some credit.

You’re Longview, was 6a, now 5a, being in the same district you should be fine so who cares how the kid section is. Play the game, ignore them, and you should beat Whitehouse in those sports that you share the same district based on enrollment and number of athletes period. I think they’re pretty good again in baseball and maybe softball? Other than that, y’all should roll. Hoping to see a great game in Tyler. First time for us to see the two Tyler teams play each other. I’m sure many of you want to root against both teams. I just wanna see good ball.

I would venture to say that all of those schools you mentioned would have folks that would say Marshall is just as bad or worse, it works both ways. That’s every school, they all have people that don’t like their kids or whatever. In the DFW, everyone hates Argyle, or Allen kids, or more recently the Frisco schools. All I was saying was I’ve heard they have had a complete turnover of head coaches in the last five years and from what I’ve seen, they have been fine. Again we have only been here about three years and haven’t seen a lot. Wanted to see Mahomes’ hometown play so we have been to some of their games. Granted it was football and baseball and not an indoor sport like you speak of with the student sections.

You and the Whitehouse thing is old, it was funny the first 600 times you said it, but now you sound dumb. I’ve seen them play in several different sports the last two years since we moved to the area and I’ve never once seen them do all the things you claim. Watched them in two football games last year, zero cheap stuff and their fans were fine. Saw a playoff baseball game with them and their kids and fans were very energetic, not disrespectful, saw a really good clean hard-nosed game. Maybe things were bad in the past with them, I have no idea nor do I care, but I know they’ve changed coaches in several sports and the times I’ve seen them they were fun to watch and not disrespectful in any way. Trust me I’ve seen disrespectful in the Metroplex before we moved to the Piney Woods.

Why is it every year they jack with it? Just leave it alone and stop trying to make it all hip. It was terrific about two years ago.
