  1. I always thought you did that on purpose
  2. maybe I should've said "Tenaha vs. Carlisle 2006 Football" i think we both would've been happy if that result were different
  3. Florida---Pounded coachless Cincy in Tebow's last collegiate game...did anyone outside of Ohio think anything different would occur? So +1 for the SEC Tennessee---played a consistently talented VA Tech team close, much better than i expected anyways, but the D got wore down in the 2nd half so -1 Georgia---manhandled Texas A&M in the 2nd half, a game in which I thought TAMU had a legit chance, i was wrong (or maybe the victim of 2 inconsistent football teams) but either way thats another +1 Kentucky---actually played Clemson close, but an L is and L is an L so -1 Ole Miss----well wasnt that just an UGLY game to watch, since they were ranked what #4 at the start of the year, i say -1 Auburn----another UGLY game on the defensive side of the ball, thats all im gonna say there...-1 LSU----almost gave up 400 yards of offense on a pathetic field and took an L for good measure...-1 South Carolina---Connecticut was much better than their record showed, but still, for an SEC team that should've been a W...-1 Arkansas----the only reason they got the W is because ECU's poor kicker had the shanks...-1 so my math comes out to -5 for the SEC so far...thats not looking too good and i agree with the previous statements that the SEC was down this year!
  4. I think Ruffin would be a great hire for Texas Tech. If for no other reason he was saying the right things in his post game interview on the field LOL but really the players really seemed to rally around Ruffin during that ball game, and with everything those kids just went through, for them to be able to come back in the 4th quarter, without their starting qb was HUGE for them...They very easily could have laid it down and just quit...that kind of attitude comes from the top, and on that night the top was Ruffin McNeil.
  5. i'd rather be coming in after a W or 2 then after several losses
  6. 5 minutes left in the 1st and neither team has done much...0-0
  7. i personally agree with you...i think on a 3a level he would put up the same type of numbers that james, calhoun etc put up in high school. He is a great player, has all the intangibles to be a great player at the next level. And i think the reason you wont ever see someone put up the same numbers in 3A or above is because the offenses' don't necessarily revolve around one or two players...this is by no means a pot shot at Cayuga, because they were a great team (see 2009 state championship) but it didn't take much to realize that Shead and Kennedy were options 1A and 1B and were gonna carry the ball or catch it the majority of the time...on the 3A level you have to be more balanced to be successful...a perfect example would be Rusk back when Justin Sturns was the QB...he was a tremendous talent, but that was just about all they had a defenses knew it
  8. 5. watching beckville beat mt. enterprise in week 10 to get in the playoffs 4. wathcing Cayuga and Lovelady in a dogfight at Whitehouse 3. watching a Graham ball club fight to the very end against Carthage in a doozie of a championship game 2. having Cayuga, Dangerfield, Carthage and Gilmer win state titles for East Texas 1. watching Allen and Southlake Carroll what is the best HS game i've personally seen to date
  9. the Carthage offensive line will dominate Graham...against Pitt, Graham was leaving 6 people in the box at most, and playing with 5 and sometimes 6 DBs...I think Carthage has the better passing game, which means Graham will have to respect it just as much, if not more, which means once again there will only be 6 in the box which is advantage Carthage
  10. if Suh dominated every other game at 75% of how he dominated the texas game then he is the Heisman IMO Hands Down!! That was the best defensive performance ive seen in my short tenure
  11. Cayuga fans look at bobbyjays pointless tick tock tick tock like this... In my opinion, he is tick tocking to the end of Cayugas season, which will be in 3 weeks (thats the weekend of the state championship)
  12. no matter the records, A&M scares the living mess out of this die-hard longhorn...and tonight was no different To all the Aggies, pour a ton of love on Mike Sherman, that man has got the program going in the right direction...you guys will be a darkhorse to win the South next year...i think i saw on TV tonight that ya'll played 18 TRUE freshmen this year, thats impressive. A bowl win could really get the A&M program headed into next year full steam ahead, which could be a bad thing for my Horns
  13. allbig8 just curious how several of the boys are doing who sat out the 2nd half against maud...was this just precautionary? would hate to see Tenaha not get to play at full strength this deep in the playoffs
