Adam Moore of Mineola has reported to Spring Training in Peoria, Arizona with the Seattle Mariners. Nic Watkins of Mineola is playing for the 16 and under DBAT team this summer as a pitcher and 3rd baseman. He played in the fall with them . They are a class organization and if asked to play for their organization it is an honor.

Sorry to disagree, but Mineola will be much stronger next year. Mineola had 14 sophomores starting and has two experienced quarterbacks, a good line moviong up, and some some great prospects at running back. Yoy will see Mineola throw next year and rely on the run less! Looks like another playoff team in 2008!!!

While many people did not give Mineola a chance, the Yellowjackets kept it close and had opportunities to win the game. Two turnovers killed the Jackets. Look for the Yellowjackets to be back in the playoffs in 2008. Good Luck to PG next week!

Rest assured a Wells lead team will not be over confident!!! Coach Wells has already taken a team loaded with 12 sophomores and turned them into competitors. I believe this to be the best Mineola team since 1989 as for as record goes with winning five games. Mineola made the playoffs in 1994 with a 4-6 record.
