Overton had a story book season and they should be proud, but Mart will take them behind the woodshed on Friday night.

Cuero will give Silsbee a run for their money in Region 3. Wimberley takes Region 4 easily. The game that stands out to me on their schedule is the Wimberley beat down of San Antonio Pieper... 46-6... and Pieper just beat Liberty Hill in the district championship and is expected to win their region in 5A DII. I still think PG(rd3) or Silsbee (state) gives Carthage more of a threat then Wimberley but you can't ever count the Texans out, they seem to always make a run.

But then you look at 4A region 3 district 9, Jasper and WOS both deserve to be in the playoffs...

Carlisle seveley underperformed. I had them picked to win the district. Lovelady rolls and won't be tested until round 4 against Mart.

If it was August, I'd say this is gonna be a great game!
