Wow--a little shocked by the margin of victory here. Klein almost missed the playoffs altogether! Now they are stomping their way to the semis against Abilene. Anything can happen in the playoffs.......

Now that's funny Franks!! We threw it when I played back in the day, but we never played for a state championship......in fact we only played two playoff games! But that's another story..... I have a lot of respect for what Pewitt has done over the past two decades--mainly using a dominating run game. I live in the "big city" these days, and I brag to all my "city" friends about Brahma football. Most of my friends had already heard of our program from Naples and Omaha. The comment is usually, "Oh yea! I've heard of you guys. Ya'll are always good." And the ones that don't know anything about Pewitt football....I always fill them in. :thumbsup:

If what I'm reading is correct, if Pewitt beats NB this week, there will be a three-way tie for the last playoff spot between NB, Pewitt, and LK. It would then go to points between the three schools. I know LK put it on Pewitt earlier in the year, so they are way down on the points in this tie breaker system, but is there a point total that Pewitt could beat NB by to get the Bulls in the playoffs?? Does anybody know? I know it is highly unlikely....just curious if Pewitt beats NB by 20+ points if they had a shot??

Anything can happen Crush.....they're kids....15, 16, 17, and 18 year old kids!! Upsets happen every week. Don't count'em out. The numbers say that Daingerfield is better than Pewitt at this point in the year. Everybody knows, in the past, Pewitt gets better in November and December (many don't even get a chance to play in December!!). Now, whether that will be enough Friday, I don't know. I still like my score. Bulls 31 Tigers 30 in a wild one.
