  1. IIRC, the first INT was a horrible underthrow, and coming after the two short-hopped passes had me and my friend wondering whether the QB was hurt or if he had the yips all of a sudden. Second INT was indisputably a great play but also was ludicrous that they were throwing in that situation, IMO. I don't think I've ever seen a game quite like that one.
  2. This is the most bizarre turnaround I’ve ever seen. Did the L-E qb throw out his arm or something?
  3. First one was definitely PI. Under thrown ball, defender didn’t turn around and made contact. Classic.
  4. I stumbled upon the stream for this game at the half and I'm glad I did. Fun, fun stuff. Fayetteville wins by a point if their kid slides down at the end instead of scoring. I never understand why coaches aren't over there beating that into their heads, you break into the open and get the first down and go down and we celebrate a tough win, but it seems like no one ever wants to do that.
  5. Impressive performance by Anna. Honestly wouldn't have thought it was possible to blank Chapel Hill like that.
  6. That seems like a fitting way for CH"s last, slim, desperate hopes to die.
  7. I seem to recall that Amarillo Tascosa unsuccessfully petitioned the UIL to play down a class some years ago.
  8. That was horrifically mismanaged last couple minutes by Gilmer. Coaches got to drill it into the kid's head to go down if he gets the first, and then why you calling timeout to save Carthage from a delay penalty on the two-point try?
  9. Announcers were losing their minds. They going for it? They really going for it? You got all three time outs, 4 minutes left. You gotta punt here! .... uh, never mind.
  10. Yep. Once upon a time Clarksville was in a district with Mt. Pleasant and Sulphur Springs.
  11. I don't know, man. It was a good gameplan executed well, but it was also like watching paint dry for much of the second half. I like that Silsbee gave FFA everything they wanted without making the game a snooze-fest.
  12. If FFA didn't exist then they would've been losing to Carter or Silsbee instead. Hirschi was never winning state.
  13. Are there going to be normal regional tournaments this year?
