I wonder how long it is going to take all of this Newton fans to realize that in high school football , and even college ball , it really doesn't mean ANYTHING about who you beat when or by how much - anything can happen on that field . Newton needs to quit worrying about DF and take it one game at a time . I'm not trying to say LK can easily beat Newton by any means . Just pointing out that who LK or Newton lost to or beat earlier in the season really means nothing .

Lk is home team. And any of you that were at the LK DF game last week should realize that LK was not really playing. They knew this game would not affect play off standings for them and the defensive line was not even in . Offensive line was only in because they do not have any other to put in then . I'm lookin at LK to win this round , but it will be a close one .

Lawson did hurt his ankle in the middle of the 2nd quarter but was taped up and back in the game after half.

I am a Tiger fan. If you re-read what i said, I only graduated from New Boston. My family plays for LK so I was rooting for them

I graduated from New Boston in 82, but most of my family lives in LK and some of my family plays football. So this was a tough game for me but from the game i watched NB did not GIVE LK anything. They were fighting the whole time. Other than NBs touchdown from LKs fumble that NB recovered and ran probably 60+ yards, there were NO "given" or easy touchdowns for either team. And I completely agree with you about the refs. The press box was almost as bad about stopping the clock!

LK's qb Greg Gaston is a sophmore. The tigers played the refs in this one, although both teams put up a good fight. When I was sitting in the stands the kids started chanting "do it for deb" and "debbie doo." The spirit in the stands was unbelievable. Keep up the great work!

lk looked good friday . they have a shot at play offs this year as long as they dont lose players to injury like last year . i think once district starts they will do better than last year and keep playing hard .

Yes, I saw this game and there were bad calls for both teams. Harmony played a good game and Jefferson better step it up next week.

Sullivan is #10 and he is the backup QB. LKs kids are definatley the least of the problems. The kids are determined to play hard and win this year. I'm thinking their problems go on down to the administrative faculty.:whistle: LK by 13

LK's game againt NB might not sound to good from the score but the first half was actually a good game. Echols torn his ACL and MCL during the first half and Darty broke his hand. Will this effect the game Friday? From what i saw last week LK could pull it off as long as they keep it together.

NB by 2 TD's... Linden's defense hasn't been impressive so far but the offense is looking good. I think it will be a closer game than people are expecting.
