Man what a game! Both teams ran the ball well, played their hearts out , and really put on a great show. Congrats to both teams and good luck next week.

My son played baseball with a kid from over there named Ashton Slaughter. He was a hoss of an athlete when he was 13-14. Is he still around? Is he on the varsity team? I think he should be a soph. I just figured he was a heck of a football player also and I did not notice him tonite at the jv game.

Yea, I know what you mean. That sort of leaves you with a depleated jv team. They played hard and should do well next year as soph.s.

O.K. no problem. I watched these kids practice all week and I promise you one thing, they do not lack in the preparation dept. Good luck Mustangs!!!!

Just my opinion, but I don't think anyone in this district can breathe easy until the end of the season. I predict some real friday night wars with some good teams missing the playoffs.

H.S won 34-0. Defense looked good. Teel,Wesley,and others ran the ball well. Mckinney made some monster hits on defense. The team as a whole played and executed well. The H/C looks to be an improvement. Millers got the secondary looking good as we had a couple of int's. I think this was the first game in years that we did not run the clock out at the end of the quarters and at the half. Gonna be a tougher challenge next week. Way to go stangs and good luck next week.

Coach Stewart is one of the best in the state. Not because of his 100 wins,if he had 50, he'd still be one of the best. I say this after watching alot of his practices. He runs a very efficient practice and prepares his players well. He has had alot of talent, but I promise you he made them better. Little things win tough games and he is a very detail oriented coach. They may win alot of games by 8 or more, but they were prepared to win by 1. I hope the Texarkana thing is a rumor. The kids really look up to him. Good luck Mustangs. Oh yea one negative about Coach Stewart. He #### at coin tosses.LOL

And I'm sure you guys are going to say how bad the war is going. Sheeeeep! If Bush is to stupid to be President, what does that say about the democratic party?:tongue: Yea, and the Republican voters.

I honestly don't know what we need. But if we are in 2 wars, I want a war guy in charge. Could be the best move in a bad situation.

I read in the DMN that the Bush adm. are looking for a war chief to oversee the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have been turned down by three 4 star generals. One, retired Marine Gen. John J. "Jack" Sheehan was quoted as saying "The very fundamental issue is, they don't know where the hell they're going". End quote. It seems that the people who "really" know about war, don't want any part of it. Sheehan was also quoted as saying "There's the residue of the Cheney view-"We're going to win,al-Quaeda's there'-that justifies what we did". "And then there's the pragmatist view-how the hell do we get out of Dodge and survive? Unfortunately, the people with the former view are still in the positions of most influence". Sounds like a smart man to me.

I never said Bush was guilty of constitutional malfeasence. I said he does not follow it. He signed it into law. What is constitutiotnal. LOL.

This country was at the top of wacko about 6 yrs. ago when it cast it's votes without research or facts. That is why the Dems are winning elections now. The fourth and eighth amendments are being ignored by the Patriot Act. Any reasonable person with out big blinders on can see that. What comes next is why I did not offer any facts. Lets see if any one else knows the diff. I suspect not. Come on guys, surprise me with something new. Not the same old retorical #### about the war and national security being a good reason to trash the constitution. The response that I get will no doubt show why I don't waste too much time arguing with those who wear the blinders.
